I do have the old Xbox One S should I buy and upgradeto the new Series X or Series S for the grand theft 6 to play this game and to do gaming on it yes or no?

Xbox freezes when I try to reset

Bought a one s for cheap, has the issue where it only shows a black screen. So I’ve gone to reset the console using the troubleshooting menu. Every time I press either one of the options in the photo, it makes a chime but stays stuck to this screen. Any advice?
