Anyone Want to wish me luck for the flower head pieces?

I don't think I'll be 'grinding' for them, but I'll try to get them when I'm in the mood.

Thing is, I got 2 already, and they're the hard to get ones. I smell something fishy.

So, I think I solved my 'getting enough TP' problem with my dual guns build.

The main hiccup of my build (For Me) is getting enough TP for the initial overdrive.

Tried the Photon saber idea others suggested, but I didn't like how those arts (for photon saber in general) 'felt' to use.

I had been using my Tensifiers / Mega Tensifiers to get the starting TP, but that was getting wasteful.

So I tried slapping a couple Arts Gain TP XX on my weapons. After some testing, this solved it. I just go to a 'normal' mook at the start of my play session and spam primer a few times and boom instant max TP for cross. Not the best solution by any means. (Had to sacrifice a tiny bit of range damage to do it) but hey, it works.

Ares 90

Is it a noob move to use Ares 90 for the more harder tyrants out there? I know people love to show off skills and such, but Ares 90 is literally just easy mode after being base game.

Xeno Chronicles X Definitive edition upgrade

I bought Xenoblade Chronicles X Definitive Edition (Italian) for 22€ which is very cheap. I have a Nintendo Switch 2 and I was wondering, is it worth buying the upgrade pack? The resolution does it stay 1080p all the time in Xenoblade Chronicles X Definitive Edition or it scale between 720p and 1080p?

Dang, almost broke a hundred.

This was my first 'real' attempt at trying to get a good score in one round.

I think I wasted a bit too much time recasting Shadow Runner but I didn't want to risk getting bonked even with Ghost Walker.

For the record it doesn't super matter since I'm doing it for the flowers anyway. But I dunno, kinda fun to shoot for a high sore while I'm at it.

Xenoblade fans who have played the ORIGINAL version of XCX, what did you think of the Wii U Gamepad map functionality?

Is the game better with or without it?

I'm noticing a little bit of an epidemic with Xenoblade DE Video Guides?

Sometimes when you look up 'how do I do X quest' you'll get lucky and get a 8-10 minute video telling you exactly what you need to know/what you clicked on said video for.

Other times? Video is 20 + minutes long and 2/3'rds of the video is running around like a goofball instead of showing the quest objective.

I'm sure it's just a 'me' thing, but when I'm looking for a 'guide' on a game I prefer quick tutorial vs 'viewer retention time' style of delivering info. And honestly the only reason this even bugs me (it's more of a pet peeve than anything) is because youtube likes to shove the 30 + minute videos to the top of search results.

Do I have a massive disadvantage by playing the original WiiU version, since the game is offline?

Hi, started playing the game on the WiiU a few weeks ago, I'm at chapter 5 and I havf looked into getting some good augments, but it seems they require materials that you can buy with Reward Tickets ... which is tied to the discontinued online feature.

Will I be able to complete the game without these tickets? Or should I prepare to struggle alot in later areas?

Where to 'farm' complimentary weapons for the G Piledriver?

Ok so, I was told in my previous thread that said formula zero build was nowhere near enough.

I Tried it and, it got it to about half HP. That got me wondering if the 'build' was correct but the Frame, armor, and weapons weren't. (Aside from the G Piledriver)

To be clear. I want to "one shot" telethia. I'm a bit sad I can't use FZ for this cause I like the frame, but I'll do what I must. I wanna get the good ending for that one quest this playthrough dangit. (And yes I know it's just a dialogue change, but a good ending is a good ending)

Will this Pointy Thing Kill the Ultra Fauna Bosses?

I feel like it will, but I need a suitable opponent to test it on before I try to poke Telethia.

This thing is mainly for that but I guess it would work on the other bosses that are Ultra Fauna too.

Any tips on the Frye mission? This was as low as I could get the health on one of these horses, and that’s with a single Personal Patch. Without one, I could barely reach half

Rate The Fit chat (out of 10)

Trying to make good outfits where the 'gold' pieces work drives me insane.

But I feel like I nailed it with this one. What do ya'll think?

I've been wanting a good outfit with a tiny bit of gold for a while now.

What is up with this game's design

I am playing X after the three other xenoblade games and boy, what is up with this design? For the record I am enjoying this game and I will finish it, likely complete it as that is what I have done with all the previous xenoblade titles. I can handle it personally but a lot of the design here just has me scratching my head.
Here we have this level 13 misssion, it unlocks a new companion and is availible as soon as affinity missions unlock. Where do we put the goal for that mission? Oh, how about in the fire-lava death zone at the opposite end of the world filled with an average enemy level from 30 - 50. What? You can't quit affinity missions either, so if you take it, you're stuck with it. What possibly could have been the logic here. This honestly seems to be designed purely to push away new players.
I'm fine as I've gotten used to running past stronger enemies in my exploration already, but I certainly understand now why this game sold less than any other xenoblade game.
I just can't wrap my head around why they possibly would design it this way. It's not like they were a new studio, monolith soft was already a veteran developer when they made this game. Did they just enter a tempory bout of insanity that just happened to last through the development of this game?

So, Receding Rust farming might not be that hard with my build...

Mental image of My cross sneezing by accident and everything in front of her dying.

Not sure if everything else I'll have to fight will die this quickly though.

Is it possible to lock yourself out of 100% Survey Rate?

I'm playing the Definitive Edition on Switch 2.
I have a segment in the Residential Disctrict for an Affinity Shift featuring >!Kon'luarb!<, but I've already done the mission >!Circle of Life and he's now dead on my save file!<.
Am I locked out of being able to do this segment and in turn achieve 100% survey rate?

Which fun builds get you through the new endgame bosses/ endgame bosses in general?

I’m trying to avoid the dual guns/ longsword build as I know it’s the number 1 spot but I want to try some other builds :). Any builds/ item pairings you recommend?

Teach me how to fight the online superbosses?

I kinda want to take a crack at them now that I have a funny powerful build going.

I'm not sure if I'll survive the whole fight, but my cross sneezes on stuff (I know that's not what she's doing but I imagined that when using zero zero with this build and wheezed so now I can't un see it) and it dies right now. I'd like to maybe earn the telethia parts plus I also want the cool head armor fashion pieces eventually. (Maybe not all variants)

I also think fighting the bosses is probably a better way to get the rare mats VS buying them with tickets ? At least if I want them En Masse.
