Underwhelming Main Sensor

I have mixed feelings about the main sensor, which is supposed to be great. The images often lack a clear focal point, appearing uniformly soft and slightly out of focus. Additionally, the details are poor, and the textures look heavily overprocessed. I've attached an example taken inside a store (and a detail from it), along with a comparison to my old iPhone 15 Pro. Both pictures were taken with the main camera at around 2.8x zoom. The Xiaomi's image is very soft and waxy, whereas the iPhone's is grainier but looks much more natural. What do you think?

Xiaomi 17 Ultra - Camera Issue on Day 2. Ultrawide lens goes black & screen flickers on macro/close-up

Hey everyone, I just got my Xiaomi 17 Ultra, and unfortunately, on just my second day of using it, I’ve run into a really frustrating camera bug/hardware issue. Here is what’s happening: Ultrawide Lens (0.6x): Whenever I switch to 0.6x, the screen goes almost completely black. It’s barely capturing any light or image at all. Main/Telephoto Lenses: The other lenses seem to work fine, but there's another catch. Whenever I bring an object close to the camera (trying to focus on something nearby), the screen starts flickering intensely. I’ve tried restarting the phone and clearing the camera app cache, but nothing changed. Is anyone else experiencing this with their 17 Ultra? Do you think this is a widespread software bug with the new launch, or did I just get a defective unit? Any advice or feedback would be highly appreciated. Thanks!

I Found A Qi2 Magsafe Charger That Fits The Xiaomi 17 Ultra!

The only one I've found is the Baseus AM31.

NOTE: The Xiaomi Ultra Slim one over hangs by about 1cm.

Anyone else found any chargers that fit snug like this for the Xiaomi 17 Ultra?

Gemini intelligence

According to this article Xiaomi 17 series won't be getting gemini intelligence despite having the latest flagship chip and 12/16gb RAM, that's really confusing

Xiamomi 17 oder OnePlus 15

Region: Deutschland/ germany

Hi,

Akku 10

flüssiges Betriebssystem 10

Zuverlässigkeit aller Standardfunktionen (Maps, Spotify, Messenger, Google Wallet, Banking, kleine Spiele, Wecker, Erinnerung, Social Media) 10

Kamera 7,5

Möglichkeit zu debloaten 8

Guter Kundenservice im Reperaturfall 7,5

Schnell Laden 5

Updatepolitik 7

Langlebigkeit 8

- Bessere Update Politik
- Bessere Kamera (??)

Vorteile OnePlus 15

WiFi keeps disconnecting randomly on my Xiaomi 17

Hi everyone, I've got a Xiaomi 17 in the last months and I keep getting disconnected from my WiFi randomly during the days.

My router is WiFi 7, and it works well with my other devices too.

Many people said that they have the same issue, so it's not hardware related since it works flawlessly with Android Auto, older WiFi and WiFi Direct.

I've tried to set MLO, Band Steering off, WPA3 only and static IP but still this problem occurs.

I reported it via the Feedback app but the support replied to me to provide more log (which I sent again with a video) and still no response.

Here is the video recorded of the problem: https://imgur.com/a/QFnp1bJ

Title : [Xiaomi 17 Ultra / Leitz Phone] Critical bug Telephoto lens motor freezing / not moving anymore Please report it officially

Hey everyone,

A critical bug has been confirmed on the Xiaomi 17 Ultra (Global) and the Leitz Phone Edition: the telephoto lens motor stops working, causing the lens to no longer move.

This results in the camera being unable to focus at zoom levels above 3.2x and in some cases, the camera app crashes entirely after clearing cache.

We got confirmation today that Xiaomi is aware of the issue and their team is investigating. The fix priority depends directly on the number of official reports they receive, so every report counts.

How to report (takes 2 minutes):

- Open the "Services & Feedback" app (pre-installed on your device)

- Describe the issue: telephoto lens not moving / camera unable to zoom above 3.2x

- Attach a screen recording or logs if you can reproduce it

The more of us report it through official channels, the faster it gets escalated and patched.

Don't just comment here please take the time to submit a report.

Thanks 🙏

Xiamoi 17 von Galaxy S22

Hi!
