Hey everyone,

I’m using a Xiaomi 17 Ultra and I noticed that Android System is taking a surprisingly high amount of battery in the battery stats.

Device info:

• Model: Xiaomi 17 Ultra
• RAM: 16 GB
• OS: HyperOS / Android
• Region/ROM: China ROM
• Usage: mostly TikTok, social media, camera, normal daily use
• Battery mode: Balanced
• Root/bootloader: rooted / unlocked bootloader

The weird thing is that sometimes Android System shows up very high, even when I’m mostly just using normal apps. The phone can also get warm sometimes, and I’m not sure if this is just HyperOS background optimization, Google services, root-related stuff, or some system wakelock.

Has anyone else with a Xiaomi / HyperOS device had Android System using a lot of battery?

What should I check?

Any tips would be appreciated.

I have recently bought a xiaomi 17 and I am based in Greece.

It seems like I cannot play music via Bluetooth to a Bluetooth speaker and the volume to be correct.

In most cases the volume will be way lower than when I played through my laptop.

I have changed region to USA but nothing changed dramatically.

Has anybody fixed this problem?

I've had the Xiaomi 17 Pro Max for about 2 weeks now and I can tell you that it's the most disappointing phone I've ever owned

Equipped with a Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 but performs worse on Winlator than the s25 I traded for it.

Unless you have a Chinese number you can't bootloader unlock it to literally get a EU ROM BECAUSE YOU DON'T SPEAK CHINESE

You can't change the launcher without changing the navigation gesture which is literally one of the worse things I've ever heard

Can't enable Google Gemini because they want to use their own AI and it's sooooo badd

Otherwise the phone takes good pictures and stuff the back display is pretty cool and the battery lasts a while but that's about it.

I genuinely wouldn't recommend this phone it's sooo disappointing I will be looking to sell or trade it it's genuinely a worse experience than my S25 ultra:(

Please don't buy this if you're thinking about doing so it makes no sense unless you literally are just in China and certain things don't matter to you

Hey so i wanted to ask if anyone had the xiaomi 17 pro max, my current phone is the iphone 13 pro and i have been wanting to get the xiaomi 17 pro max. I want to know if google pay is available and working in my country(belgium) and if the backscreen notification have been fixed or not, i have also seen people complaining that services like netflix, disney+ etc only run on 720p is that true or not? And the most important question how do i debloat the phone if i decide to get it and is it good to use as a daily phone?

Since a few weeks my xiaomi 17 is overheating and sometimes hard to charge battery: lose battery faster than reload it.

Before that, the smartphone was always kinda cold even when scrolling

Does any of you see the some issue ?
How can I solve it ?
