Xiaomi Pad 6 (8GB/256GB) | Snapdragon 870 | Patna

Selling my Xiaomi Pad 6 (8GB RAM / 256GB Storage). The tablet is fully functional and delivers excellent performance with the Snapdragon 870 processor. Great for gaming, studying, streaming, and multitasking. Battery backup is excellent, and all features work perfectly. The display is smooth and works flawlessly. There are only a few minor scratches on the outer glass from normal use, with no impact on touch or everyday usage. Feel free to DM for more details or photo

Is it worth installing a Custom ROM?

With my Xiaomi Pad 6 pretty much untouched since it's original purchase back in 2023, is it worth unlocking the bootloader and installing a Custom ROM?

crDroid on Android 16 seems to be available. Would this be a ROM worth updating too?

Would this improve my overall user experience with my tablet? Would it help remove some of the bloatware and improve the overall performance of the tablet?

Thanks guys

What happened to pixelOS?

This was one of the most beloved ROMs for the Xiaomi Pad 6; even in this community it was mentioned a lot, but it's now abandoned. Have they said anything officially about it?

Xiaomi Pad 6 in the next 5 years

I've recently been accepted into med school and I was wondering if my Xiaomi Pad 6 will last me throughout my journey in medical school. Will it suffice for the next 5 years? I don't really see myself purchasing a new one due to budget restrictions and I want to know if the tablet will be able to get through the coming years. TYIA for those who will be commenting.

UPDATE on PN579X stylus

Hey everyone! Quick but super important follow-up to my previous post.

The Dell Premium Active Pen (PN579X) finally arrived, and while this specific pen is a total flop, the overall project is definitely not over.

Here is the breakdown of what happened with the Dell pen:

The Protocol Problem: It turns out the specs were misleading. This Dell stylus does NOT support 2.0 protocols—it only supports 1.0.

(and yes, i'm confirmed that it is not in MPP mode)

🛑 Verdict on Dell: Avoid the Dell PN579X if you're trying to make this setup work. It's a waste of cash for our device.

But the experiment continues...

Why does this happen?

Closing replies for some reason completely deafens the device
