hey i wanna buy xiaomi pad 8 this year (12/256GB) version
but my friend said that i should avoid xiaomi pad cause his pad 6 started lagging after 1.5 years, i wanna use my pad for 4-5 years sooo please gimme your opinion/reviews

I have a Xiaomi Pad 7, and I’ve been using it for the last 8 months. I’ve played Wuthering Waves and Genshin on extreme graphics and never faced such heating issues. For the last 2 months, I’ve been using workstation mode, but I still never faced heating like this. Suddenly today, it’s heating extensively—I can’t even do basic note-taking and watch lectures. It’s been like this the whole day, and it’s hectic. And yeah, I also use Bluetooth, but idts it would give it such a hard time. Any advice? I can go to a service center, but I bet they aren’t even gonna look at it.
I haven’t updated yet since bought last January so still in HyperOS 2. Read some issue about rebooting and google notifications are the solution. Besides this, any other issues encountered? I am on PH region but I saw there’s a 304 update for global and Europe. Thanks!
