Huge shoutout to Alamo at Toronto Airport (YYZ) for saving our night after a nightmare ending to our trip
Just wanted to share a fantastic experience I had with Alamo recently.
My family and I were flying back to Toronto after a trip to Europe with two exhausted, young kids in tow. When we finally got out to our car at the airport parking lot, we discovered it had been broken into. The thieves had torn into the wiring, completely disabling the car and leaving us completely stranded.
With two young kids and a dead car after a long day traveling, we started walking desk to desk at the airport rental center. Every single company turned us away, saying they were completely sold out.
Alamo was the first desk to take a look at us, listen to our situation, and step up to help. Not only did they have a vehicle available, but they set us up with a one-way rental to PA so we could actually get our family and luggage back home safely.
I had never rented from Alamo before, but after how incredible and accommodating their team was when we were in a huge bind, we will consider them again in the future!
