Timon of Athens Act 5.1 to the end of the play Reading Discussion

I definitely made a bit of a mistake with separating them into three since we've only got one act today. We're at the end of the play and Timon has made his choices.

Act 5, Scene 1

>!Timon is visited by the Poet and the Painter seeking the gold Timon is now rumored to possess. After he drives them away empty-handed, he receives a delegation of two Athenian senators, who plead in vain with him to return to Athens and rescue it from the approaching Alcibiades. Timon refuses and withdraws to die.!<

Act 5, Scene 2

>!Athens learns that it will surely fall to Alcibiades. Its senators seek shelter behind its walls.!<

Act 5, Scene 3

>!One of Alcibiades’ soldiers discovers Timon’s tomb and, since he cannot read Timon’s epitaph, he resolves to bring a wax impression of it to Alcibiades.!<

Act 5, scene 4

>!A victorious Alcibiades listens to the apologies of the senators and agrees to the conditions they set. Athens then opens its gates to Alcibiades and his army. Presented with Timon’s epitaph, Alcibiades reads it aloud and promises peace to Athens.!<
