started watching last week, and I gotta say, 7 episodes in and LOVING It. I have not found a show with such perfect tone in ages. Tense battle scenes, a mature level of gore without body horror, enough comic relief to keep things light without relying on goofy character design.and it's that last point that's helping me use this to get off doom scrolling. For ages how I've avoided watching anime because I feel like I have to give full undivided attention but also because anything really worth watching is too intense to pop on and off. But this lets me watch a good half an episode, cut at a funny joke, and walk away. Instead of getting on tiktok for an hour of numbing, I can just pop in on an episode. It incentivized me to swap Crunchy roll for tiktok on that muscle memory spot on my homescreen, and it's helping me rebuild my attention span. Wierd take I know, but art affects us all in different ways

Im pretty sure im not the only one that when i find something that interests me, i make OC or just tink about potential new stuff. After watching the show i just started to tink about what would be a cool daemon to have, pretty much either an OC or an existing one. So i just want to talk about that. And why not hear opinions about the ideas.

Personally after tinking about it for a while, i came to an idea. My Daemon would be this:

Tsugai : Hachishaku - Sama the eight feet tall lady.

Eight feet tall lady, wearing a white long dress with a mix of a western and kimono like style (hanging sleves, obi behind her, slight open on the legs), wearing elbow gloves and short boots with a BIG hat. Her hair its extremely long with a half white half black colors with a hime (princess style) hairstyle. Her limbs and neck are slightly longer than normal. Shes actually very atractive but when fighting can make some really scary faces.

She has superior phisical strenght and speed (internet says shes strong enought to rip apart adults with ease and runs as fast as cars), while also being very resistant to modern weapons.
Her powers would be able to use her hair as a weapon, mimic other peoples voices, can cast curses (they take time to cast but ramp up on how strong they get after the target its cursed) and make people dissapear (pocket dimention? something like the house of dera?)

Her two forms are:

Po - Po (the sound she makes). Shes the full dark haired part. Dresses perhaps in a full western like dress in white (kind of like princess peach) is still tall (perhaps 2 meters)

Ku - Ku (like those laughters some characters do when they are being mischevious) Shes the White haired part. Dresses in a full black kimono (like Mio from moonlit fantasy).

The part i tought would be hilarious, is that Po -Po its a fan of magical girls and roots for the heroines, so she enjoys watching shows when not doing anything. While Ku-Ku also likes them but she roots for the villians instead. And just for a dumb thing that when in her true full form she prefers super sentai shows.

Pretty silly idea but just wanted to share it around and se what people tought about it and if anyone would like to share their own ideas

• You get born
• Your parents don't register you as an existing person
• You don't know the date when you were born
• Your parents don't even give you a proper name
• Then you grow up somewhere that makes you "used to pain"
• Somehow end up at the Kagemori's, which is such an improvement that you are crazy loyal to these people
• Your boss is a guy whose boss is his own dad. Your boss' dad sometimes asks him to kill people or to dispose of bodies
• There's another girl about your age (?) Again, you don't know your own age but close enough?
• She's nice, deadly scared of darkness and on the run because a bunch of people where she grew up want her dead
• Her parents fuck off somewhere or are dead
• You can relate to that "where I grew up sucks" thing
• You become friends
• You have this teeth tsugai you can use to protect your friend
• You sleep in the same a room as her so she doesn't get scared of the dark, you protect her from whoever tries to kill her. Because they do try to kill her.
• She's nice, she doesn't kill people, so you don't mind getting your hands dirty for her.
• You fail. You fail, because the guys from the place she grew up got her and you were late and they killed her. You had one job and you failed.
• She now has the power to get her brother out of the place were she grew up. You know, the place where everyone wanted them dead? The place that sent people to kill her?
• Boss' dad/boss wants everyone there dead, as it's a place that exists to make those prophecy twins and then kill them and then use them
• Your boss orders you to do what his dad/boss wants
• You gladly go against the people that sent those guys to kill your friend and would kidnap her if they had the chance
• Anyway you are only there in case there are tsugai users. As soon as you clear that area you can call the ground forces up and they're supposed to do the rest of the dirty work
• You follow your orders
• When people look like they are about to attack you, you attack first and kill them. These are the guys who sent the people to kill and kidnap your friend, and in your life it's kill or be killed.
• One of them has a kid. Oh well
• The kid can go. It's not like the kid knows the entire village is a cult that want to kill and kidnap your friend. And the Kagemori's policy is to be nice to kids, since they were nice to her and nice to your friend
• What does she need a parent for either way? Parents are only good for either droping dead, abandoning their children, mistreating them or telling them to kill/dispose of people. Dropping dead is not the worst option.
• And hey, now maybe the kid won't grow up to try to kill your friend!
• You followed your orders
• Aaaaand... following orders, killing the guys that would kill and kidnap your best friend given the chance, and sparing a child makes you the worst character ever!

So far there really isn’t anyone I’d say is a villain per se. FMAB had phenomenal villains, so I trust her. Villains really make an anime even better for me if they are tone done right like King Bradley, Pride, etc

Personally, I'm excited for >!Danji's reveal, the aliens, Ivan's fight at the warehouse and Akio's stuff!<

But yea, new opening wslas done very well. Music accompanying video, cool soundtrack itself. Just very nicely done.

Mu appreciation to directors

It is used as a shock gore opening of seemingly innocent characters with no reason for the kagemori's to kill them so brutally even with the excuse that they had bad intentions for yuru.

Literally just a bunch of villagers wielding farming tools and one mother unarmed trying to run away with her child

Why did no car on highway had a reaction seeing Danji floating in air at full speed on highway? Since Oshirasama is a Tsugai, they should not be able to see the horse and only see Danji mid air
