[Hiring] Video editor for short-form field/educational content — Must use DaVinci Resolve — USA-based preferred

I run a small environmental consulting company (wetland delineation, permitting, ecological work) based in Minnesota. I'm building out a YouTube channel focused on short, authentic field videos (10-15 min) — think boots-on-the-ground content explaining what we do, gear/tech breakdowns, and educational explainers for clients. We would like to get these to YouTube in a professional setting, while also linking to our website.

What I need:

Must edit in DaVinci Resolve (project files will be delivered/returned in Resolve — no other editors, please)

USA-based preferred (easier scheduling/communication, same time zones)

I'll send you A-roll (talking-head/narration footage shot on a Galaxy S26 Ultra + DJI Mic Mini) and B-roll (GoPro Hero 13 field footage)

Clean cuts, light color correction, simple lower-thirds/captions, background music if needed

A polished, eye-catching YouTube thumbnail for each video — clean text overlay, good contrast, on-brand look.

Turnaround of a finished video every couple weeks — this isn't a huge volume gig, more of an ongoing part-time arrangement

Nice to have (not required):

Experience with outdoorsy/field/nature or B2B educational content

Comfortable with a documentary/authentic style rather than heavy motion graphics

Thumbnail design chops (Photoshop, Canva, or similar) alongside video editing

If interested, drop a comment or DM with your reel/portfolio (please include thumbnail examples too) and rate — per video or hourly, whatever you prefer. Happy to send a sample clip to test fit before committing to anything ongoing.

Compensation: 30% revenue share of channel ad earnings (no upfront pay)

Looking for a video editor/growth partner for a kids' educational YouTube channel (revenue share, not upfront pay)

I run a small YouTube channel making animal-themed educational content for kids aged 4–10 (fun facts, quizzes, simple science explainers). I handle scripting and research; I'm looking for someone who can take over editing and channel growth in exchange for a share of future ad/sponsorship revenue — no upfront payment involved.

What I need help with:

\- Video editing (open to your tools/workflow)

\- Thumbnail/title optimization for discoverability

\- Upload consistency and growth strategy (SEO, shorts, etc.)

What I bring:

\- Established topic pipeline and scripting workflow

\- Niche with steady long-term demand (kids' edu content performs well)

\- Full creative input, open to your ideas on format/style

The deal:

\- Revenue share of channel earnings once monetized (open to discussing %, based on your contribution)

\- Clear written agreement on split, duration, and channel ownership/access

\- This is a partnership, not a gig — looking for someone who wants to build this long-term, not a one-off

Serious replies only — DM me and I'll share channel name, sample content, and more details once we're talking.

[Hiring] Video Editing for educational/documentary content covering Military tech & battles. Full-Time hire preferred.

Hello everyone, I'm starting an educational/documentary media covering military technology and battles. Most of the video(like 95%) will rely on matching assets with the script/Voice Over, but fast-paced—averaging between 3-11 seconds per clip. The YouTube channel linked below is a perfect example of the visual vibe(fast cut, color grading, typograph, BGM, VO etc etc) I'm going for: ( https://youtu.be/EC1145PvEQA?si=Cktcc0b2muhu0Rwe ).

No AI, very little to no motion graphics, some kinetic typography etc etc. The main thing is matching the assets with the script/voiceover & sometimes you would need to do a little color grading to make the assets vibrant/beautiful, as most of the assests r the clips from the public domain & you do know how industrial or bad looking those clips are.

So basically, your main tasks will be matching clips with voiceover, color grading, and dropping in kinetic typography. I’ll hand you the clip & image resources, the voiceover, the BGM, and the general direction. You just need to pick the best assets for each specific part of the script. Feel free to use AI tools to select clips or images, handle the keyframing, or speed up whatever else you need in your workflow. There will also be some memes & comic reliefs too, so if you have a funny bone, it would be great.

The long-form videos will be around 20 minutes, and everything needs to be delivered in 4K at 24fps. From that, I'll also need you to pull about 12-15 Shorts.

For the Shorts, mostly you just drop the 16:9 clip in the middle, add a Gaussian blur background top and bottom, and put captions right in the center. This video shows the exact type of short i want: ( https://youtu.be/lfUX3THrekY?si=FNoUXGltfxbiodti )

I would prefer a full-time editor or at least someone who puts me as a priority & pay would be 20k inr per month, could increase the budget somewhat if your portfolio is great. I’m planning to drop 2-3 of these every 10 days. Let me know if you’d be interested in this! If yes, please send over your portfolio(dont jst reply with hi & wait for my reply, i would prefer you send me the portfolio in my DM &/or your questions/thoughts regarding this), and we can hop on a quick call to talk details. Also i would love to see your work in long-format with something similar to my type of videos in the portfolio, tht would be my priority but i understand if you jst send your best work too.

Best regards.

[HIRING] Long-Term YouTube/TikTok Editor & Creative Partner

I’m looking for an editor to grow alongside my content and become a real creative partner, not just another freelancer.
Budget is currently up to $100/week, which is the maximum I can realistically afford right now as a growing creator. My goal is for the people helping build this to grow alongside it.
What I need:
● Someone who can watch stream VODs and find great moments on their own.
● High volume of Shorts/TikToks and at least one long-form YouTube video per week.
● Strong communication and someone comfortable with frequent discussion, feedback, and collaboration.
● Someone comfortable editing gaming, desktop/chatting content, serious discussions, mainstream games, indie games, and random ideas.

Strong English fluency is mandatory. My content is heavily personality-driven, so understanding humor, sarcasm, gaming culture, Twitch culture, and North American internet culture is important.

A Discord account is mandatory, and Discord voice/video calls are highly preferred. I want this to feel more like building something with a teammate than managing a freelancer through messages.

I’m not looking for a traditional client/editor relationship. I’m looking for someone who wants to grow their editing skills and portfolio alongside a creator and become a genuine creative partner as the content grows.

Communication, personality fit, and shared interests matter more to me than experience or a huge portfolio.

If you’re just looking for another freelance client, this probably isn’t the right fit.

Please don’t send a corporate cover letter or AI-generated response. I want to know who you are, what creators you watch, what content excites you, and why this post interested you.

You can find my content on most platforms under Trill_TTV or Trill_Live if you’d like to get a feel for who I am, my personality, and the type of content we’d be
creating together.
If interested, send:
● Examples of your work (if you have any)
● Creators you watch
● Content you enjoy editing
● Your rates
● A little about yourself

Whether you’re able to match or improve on the current editing style used on the channel
I’m looking for someone with experience editing YouTube Shorts, so if you’ve worked with similar content before, I’d like to see your work.

Why is finding a reliable video editor (or a good client) still so hard in 2026? 😭

Seriously, the workflow in this industry is broken. Creators are tired of being ghosted by random freelancers, and talented editors are tired of fighting for low-paying gigs on cheap job boards.

I decided to just fix the problem myself. I run a bridge between the two sides. I find elite, reliable editors, test them, and hand them directly to creators who need premium video content. No headaches, no ghosting, just good work. I’m setting up a few new partnerships this week. If you need a vetted editor to take over your video pipeline, or if you’re a pro editor looking for a serious client, hit my DMs.

[HIRING] Looking for a Long-Term YouTube/TikTok Editor

I’m looking for an editor to grow alongside my content and become a long-term creative partner.
This would be paid per video/project.
What I’m looking for:

Strong communication and responsiveness.

Someone comfortable with me being involved in the editing process.

Someone who can watch stream VODs and find funny moments, clips, and video ideas.

High volume of Shorts/TikToks plus at least one long-form YouTube video per week.

Someone comfortable editing a wide variety of content including gaming, funny moments, desktop/chatting content, and more serious discussions.

Strong English is mandatory. You don’t need to be a native speaker, but you must be extremely fluent and able to understand humor, context, and conversation naturally.

Experience isn’t the most important thing to me. I’m more interested in finding someone passionate, reliable, and excited to grow with the channel long-term. Personality fit matters and ideally I’d like this to become more of a creative partnership than a client/freelancer relationship.

Budget is around 100$ a week but is negotiable

If interested, send:
Examples of your work (if you have any)
What kind of content you enjoy watching/editing
Your rates
A little about yourself

Again this is about the love of the game, if you are just looking for another gig, you should probably look elsewhere
I look forward to working with you😎
