Which birth years are considered to be a "curse" to be born in (not literally im just going to describe it as that)

I know most people hate their birth years because they were either too young in a specific year or just hated being born after something they love (1990-2010s only since thats the majority of this sub)

Has anyone else completely lost interest in phone calls?

I don’t know when this happened, but I’ve reached a point where seeing someone call me instantly feels stressful unless it’s scheduled.

I can reply to texts fast.
I can sit in meetings for hours.
But random phone calls? My brain immediately goes:
“What happened?”

Feels like our generation slowly replaced calling with texting without even realizing it.

Has anyone else become like this or am I just weird?

Does 2010-2012 relate more to 2007-2009 or 2013-2015?

I cant make a poll because im not on the app but on the website but i personally believe we are more similar to people born in 2007-2009

What app do you use almost daily that most people have never heard of?

“Honestly, mine is probably Instagram.

I open it daily for reels, memes, chats, and random scrolling at 2AM 😭

Kinda crazy how it became an all-in-one app for entertainment, communication, and wasting time.

What app can’t you go a day without?”

Why does 2026 kinda feel like 2025 part 2

like I mean, the school year is almost over, and although some things have changed, i feel like culturally this year isn’t really that different from 2025. Summer 2026 is approaching but it kinda feels the same as last summer when I was 13. Why is this? Anyone else feel this way? I’m hoping 2027 will feel different tbh.

People born in 2013 teenagers ;-;

It makes me feel a bit odd. Like what do you mean a year I can remember quite a bit of things (gaining "consciousness" if you want) is now a year for younger teenagers 😭?

I'm born in 2009. More specifically in february (I like to flex my birth month. Even tho you can't control it). Uh, I could technically say for 2012 too... But I won't mix up memories with trauma.

So if we generalise "consciousness" at 4 years old. It would mean that 2013 babies would have they first memory in 2017.

Didn’t this school year just start?

As of writing this it’s May 18th, and May will end in less than 2 weeks. And my last day of school is June 10, so that’s really just 16 school days left, less than 3 weeks worth of school. But I still remember that day in August on the first day, and it’s over just like that. But lowkey I won’t miss the 25-26 school year, not much was outstanding at all and in some way it was even a repeat of the 23-24 school year, AKA my least favorite school year.

Even in general this year is going by fast, hasn’t it? New Year’s Day was 4 months and 17 days ago. And 4 months and 17 days ago from now is October 5th. And it’ll probably be even faster because of summer. And eventually it’ll be 2027.

Also fun fact: May shares the same calendar as August 2025, when most of us went back. Kinda cool how it comes full circle

I showed my dad Ultra kill

All he was saying is how shitty it looked, how it looked like a game from 20years ago and said he could program it himself😭 I just got ultra kill so I haven’t played it yet but I’ve seen the reviews on how the game is really hard, I tryed to tell him that it was on purpose that it was a art style but he just said it was going to be a trash game.
