I was fortunate enough to get gifted for my birthday the Ennard Prototype from the folks at youtooz!
still waiting on battery bandit balloon boy to arrive :(
Hey guys. Given circumstances, I’m gonna have to start downsizing some of my collection of vinyls, particularly to make way for DesignerCon in a few months. Before I do that, though, I wanted to share the current state of my YouTooz collection, both as a personal memo but also to garner thoughts on what may or may not be worth hanging on to. Thanks.
Still waiting for the Pop Fizz pin tho lol
Hey All. So something that I've taken notice of amidst my hobby of collecting vinyl figurines, indie toys and sofubi figures, is that alongside Funko Pops, there seems to be an indifferent or negative outlook towards YouTooz figures. I have become aware of some of the controversies around their production and distribution lines, but it seems like even online nobody cares to buy anything related to them, even secondhand.
While I don't agree with all their practices, I can't deny that I've found a few pretty cool figures for indie games and shows I'm a fan of that have some genuinely distinct and cool designs, and which don't cost quite as much as some other figure types from similar distributors. However, given this apparent view that the vinyl collectors market seems to hold towards YouTooz, I can't help but wonder if it's really worth it to continue collecting vinyls from this group, or if it'd be better to stop and cut my losses. Once again, I'm open to any discussion and insight you guys might have on the matter.

How long do these usually take
Not really a big fan of the brand but I thought the Alanah Pearce one looked cool. Wasn't on my radar way back so missed out and rarely saw it for reasonable price.
Got very lucky on eBay selling for <$20 CIB. Definitely worth it and looks better than a Funko IMO.
The size is perfect for just below my computer monitor
They’re pretty great!! Their plushies are worth the long wait in my opinion!
Still waiting on Alex though hopefully she arrives soon
forgive me as im very impatient because im excited to get my item … but my plush is finally off the ship(?) and is currently in this status. does anyone know how long until it transfers to usps? thank u!!!
I think Youtooz has to do something about having Ricky Berwick on all of their purchase confirmation pages, because Ricky Berwick is a very unlikeable guy. Other than his really off-putting misogynistic and transphobic jokes, the thing that really makes me say this is the fact he just put out a video calling people with intellectual disabilities the R-slur. Obviously, Ricky is physically disabled, but that shouldn't mean such hateful language should be used. Is that really the creator you want on all of your purchases?
