I'm very new to the fandom! I literally started playing a month ago! I have heard of the game for a long time but the final push was seeing how people celebrated Sylus' birthday 🤣 I'm so glad I finally caved because I'm enjoying the game a lot! Before playing the game, I thought I was gonna be a Caleb girly bc I initially found him the most attractive, but as I started playing, I found myself gravitating towards Zayne and he eventually became my fave LI.

Anyways, here's my Zayne plushie with my jasmine milk tea (which coincidentally is my favorite kind of milk tea!) and my MC 😄

What do I say about this? What can I say? What should I say? So many beautiful gems of moments in this story, it's hard to believe it's free 😭😭 No jasmine could find fault with Blooming Hour, I'm sure of it!! This is all that's beautiful about ZayneMC 😭

I'm not gonna share any heavy spoilers but there is 1 spoiler that is the reason for this post...

We didn't get to see what MC wrote for Zayne and I believe it's intentional. We are playing as MC so in this regard, the writers are cleverly leaving it to us to write our own love letter to Zayne.

This has never happened and I was so incredibly thrilled!!! Two days later I was able to get him up to level 100! I love that he chooses to wear the ring everyday on his own accord 😍🥹

I love Zayne’s VA so much. These are my nominations. I would maybe add Lingering Warmth to this, I haven’t listened to all of Zayne’s 4 stars yet, so I’d love to hear from other jasmines what I should listen to next.

Moonlit Dream is so tender and romantic, almost like a closed whisper.. Medical Rescue is what made my heart first pitter patter for Zayne. And we do not talk about Drunken Intimacy. It makes me want to scream. Their relationship in that card just feels so lived in. And have you girls listened to Thawing Whisper????? “Your eyes that sparkle when you look at me” ❤️‍🩹❤️‍🩹❤️‍🩹❤️‍🩹

One of the biggest reasons that Zayne bewitched me is that he reminded of Ryu from Kimi Ni Todoke (that I reminisce on what feels like a yearly basis 🥹).

Mild-tempered and patient, where their calmness and quiet nature is their strength. They are unyielding, and kind in their love.

Ryu is stoic, struggling with registering his emotions from a young age (how the author shows this is an actual stab to the heart. When Ryu’s mom would bundle him up in hats and scarves to keep him warm in the winter, he would complain about it being too uncomfortable and painfully tight. The word that he would use in Japanese means physical discomfort, but it can also mean emotional agony. When their mother passes away, his older brother asks him “It hurts doesn’t it?” when brushing snow away from his hat. Little Ryu can only utter this word “it’s painful” 😭)

Ryu is not quite awkward, as child Zayne was. It is more that he is “too relaxed” (it runs in the Sanada household). Despite coming across as his total polar opposite, Chizuru is the more reserved and awkward one in their relationship, always feeling discomposed.

Their tropes are slightly different. Of course child ZayneMC were separated, having to look after themselves for a time. Chizuru is a lonely rabbit who is very dependant on Ryu. She is fiercely loyal of her loved ones, and has a strong sense of duty. Like Zayne’s MC, she is full of life, colouring their childhood together. Chizuru and Ryu become a comfort to one another, only showing their sadness to each other. Chizuru is especially unable to handle her emotions, while Ryu kind of doesn’t overindulge his emotions.

Please do excuse all my feels, this childhood OTP was my actual precious 😔

My third finished piece for my show me your MC post where I asked many of you to submit your MC pics, especially if they had dark/darker skin tones, with your favorite outfits and favorite LI.

She sent me the other picture and I tried to match the vibe with the flowers but showing them a bit more.

Since I started painting these, I learned not to outline the skin and its details as sharply as I have done before and many more things! I think I’ve finally landed on a style I love so much. Softer palettes with lighting details and expressive eyes and tons of nature elements

I am loving working on these and they have been a major source of inspiration. I have been working on these non stop since I’m on the bed rest part of my maternity leave, so Ive been able to really lock in and most are taking me about 3-4 days to complete if they are not too complicated. I have also been taking additional online classes so I can learn to create ambience and intimate settings.
