Upcoming Hiatus speculation

So correct me if I’m wrong, but the ZD hiatus officially begins in 2027?

How long do you suspect they will be gone for?
I hope they take at least a year off, they deserve it for real.

But the Griz hiatus didn’t last too long if i remember correctly lol.

Maybe there won’t be a deadrocks next year??
Maybe they return at deadrocks!?

What are your thoughts??? 💭

Toronto! Advice/recs?

Hello! Seeing the boys next weekend with some friends, we're from Michigan and have never been to Toronto.

Any advice and recommendations for us would be appreciated. We'll be getting to Toronto Thursday and leaving Sunday.

Thanks! :)

The Boys played my goofy meme song out last night! 😂

First of all, THANK YOU ALL SO MUCH for blowing that clip up to the point of them reaching out and asking for the tune. I had so much fun making it and I'm stoked that you guys are stoked on it 🥹

However, I was not able to make it to the jamboree unfortunately, so......

If anyone has videos PLEASE send them my way in exchange for eternal gratitude 🙏🙏🙏

Anyone know if that guy that got carried out is okay?

Kinda like the back left before you walk up the steps, I seen someone kinda get carried out. Anyone see or know if he’s good? * mission ballroom *

Can’t believe it’s over

Successfully completed both nights of deadrocks, jamboree, and mission. I can’t even begin to express how grateful I am for these 3 days, so emo in the airport now:,)
We truly got to experience the most beautiful sets from the boys. I got every song I’ve been chasing.

New Album Tracks at Deadrocks Cements it as The Boy's Best.

Piggybacking off my review of the Return to the Return... Just got done seeing Night 1 and 2 of Deadrocks. This was absolutely the best comprehensive Deadrocks (Night 1+2) we've had this decade.

Coming into the Rocks, I was really excited to hear the new tracks from the album played out live. Oh boy... Even with high expectations, it still blew them out of the water. The mastering on the tracks especially stood out and made the drops sound exceptionally crisp and heavy. From what I remember we got:

The Return

In Your Head

Angel 2

Pourin Rain

Living Room

Sting

Out of Time

Fallin Down

Portal

Fly Around the World.

Out of Time was easily the standout drop of the entire album and was pure euphoria. Pourin Rain had incredible lows and was groovy to dance to in the rain. Living Room and Fallin Down really surprised me in how much it climbed up in my ranking of songs from the album. Sting was a wild ride just as it is in my car. The Return was pure hype and had me jumping. Fly Around the World was a perfect end cap to the entire event and a great sendoff for the tour.

Each drop easily placed itself in my all-time favorite Zeds Dead tracks to hear live from a singular album/EP (just like Catching Zs). The album is the culmination of styles in their discography so this allowed the tracks to just seamlessly fit into their setlist. The songs each had very fluid transitions and nice dispersion throughout the entire set.

I'm stoked to hear these all over again in Vancouver on the tour. Hope y'all enjoy it as much as I did when you see them on the tour. It's going to be one for the books.

P.S. The boys do indeed control the weather. How do you get the rain to only fall during Sweet Memories and Pourin Rain (which was the hardest it rained)? Make sure to spread the word to everyone y'all know.

Hey Dead Rocks vets: How does this year rank in comparison to other years?

This was my first Dead Rocks and those were easily 2 of the best sets that I’ve ever witnessed. My brother and I were pretty high up last night and the lightning and fireworks on the horizon made it even more magical (although I have extremely mixed feelings about the amateur pyrotechnics when our state is so crispy right now). How does this year compare to the other years that you’ve attended?
