I ordered a Zeekr X several months ago, and have just received a call from the dealer. My car isn't available yet, but there is an unallocated one that is almost identical. The only difference is that I didn't order electric doors, but the unallocated car is fitted with them.

The dealer is happy to reallocate the car to me if I want the electric doors, but I'm not so sure. To those who have them, are they decent, buggy, useful or gimmicky.

Should I take the car with electric doors or wait for my order without them?

I have swapped out my 19 inch stock Zeekr X wheels with the factory fitted Continental Tyres for 17 inch Motegi aftermarket wheels with Primacy 5 tyres. The first 2 photos show the car and one of the wheels after they were fitted yesterday.

It is too early to say what impact it will have on the car's range but it has markedly improved the ride.

By putting on 225/65R17s | was able to keep the diameter virtually the same as the original wheels/ tyres meaning the Speedo is still accurate.

Consequently I have 4 as new Zeekr X 19 inch wheels in pristine condition (absolutely no curb rash) with Continental 235/50R19 V XL tyres that have travelled 5,500ks available for purchase. Selling individually for $475 each or $900 for 2. The cost of the same wheel from Zeekr is close to $3000!

If you are looking for a full sized spare wheel to put in the garage for emergencies and for long country trips or to replace “curb rash” damaged wheels on your pride and joy, these wheels will be perfect for you.

I am based in Canberra and will happily deliver them to any address here if you are interested and have a local friend here that could inspect them for you.

I will arrange delivery to anywhere in the Country at the buyers expense.

Hopefully these will sell quickly to get my wife off my back for clogging up the garage.
