I figured that this mayor’s term was going to be a nightmare, but everytime I read or see something, it gets worse. He can’t be there for four years. Is there a chance he can be recalled? Or are New Yorkers stuck with him and his horrible policies?
Looks like the mayor's gambit paid off. With help from the state, they were able to cover a $12 Billion budget gap without cutting social services.
This budget will set investments to hold corporate abusers accountable and make this a place where everyone can afford to live and thrive. It will make reality the tax the rich measures he and the movement behind him won ensuring working people were not forced to foot the bill for the enormous budget gap left by eric adams’ corrupt mismanagement.
