How to like a scooter coming from a motorcycle?
I am thinking about selling my 368k. A great machine but being an old school adventure bike guy I have a hard time warming up to it.
I want to keep it, I want to love it but here are my problems:
First I am sitting on the scooter, I am missing the knee tank connection.
The split second lag in the gas in conjunction with the CVT is an enigma to me. Don't get me wrong, I would never buy a manual car so that baffles me. But approaching a curve without my left foot clicking down one or two clicks feels unnatural.
The awfully wife's stance when stopping.
The squirrelly 15" front wheel. All my old bikes had like 20+ wheel.
The weight. I think my heaviest machine was the DR600 at about 150kg.
But the comfort is great, it is superbly equipped, the 1cyl feels powerful enough etc. I guess I just feel disconnected. Any tips on making the transition better. Right now I feel like a noob, not a 500k km veteran on two wheels. Please help me find my mojo.
