New to Romance - Looking for Suggestions!

I’m fairly new to the romance genre, but after reading a few recently that locked me in, I’d like to dip my toe in further.

I read and enjoyed the below. I’d love suggestions for anything similar! I read truly all other genres but am not big on romantasy. Looking for books that are quick reads and I guess would fall under more of the “popcorn romance” genre if there is one! 😊

Packing for the beach - which is the most engaging, propulsive read?

I want some read-in-one-sitting books, do any of these fit the bill? Or anything I should definitely NOT bring lol?

August 2026 Predictions Wishlist

Well, my predictions were way off for last month haha. I swore there was a good chance of us getting "Henry Tudor Must Die", or even "Country People", but nope. Not even close! Still, there are a lot of things coming up in August I think have Aarvark pick written all over them. Here are some I'd like to see:

"Time Travel for Beginners" by Jaclyn Moriarty

"Majestic Hills" by Dawn Turner

"Better Than Revenge" by Bea Fitzgerald

"Appetite" by P. Paramita

"Be Still My Unbeating Heart" by Josh Winning

"Dreamland" by Olivie Blake (previously chosen author)

"The Whitechapel Full Moon Society" by Elizabeth DeLozier

"The Salt King" by Natasha Pulley

"The Inevitable Undoing of Zahara Douglass" by Leslye Penelope

I'm also gonna throw "Furious Violet" by Sarai Walker and "The Felicity Complex" by August Clarke into the mix again because they both come out in late July and I still think they would be awesome Aardvark picks!

should i get my box now or later? moving in two weeks

like title said, i’m moving in exactly two weeks (14 days). i’m in CA moving to another city in CA. should i buy my box now and send it to my current address? or should i wait until a couple of days before i move and just send it to my new address? thanks for some help

Thoughts on Radiant Dark or The Girl with a Thousand Faces?

Debating adding one of these for my 3rd spot tomorrow! Any thoughts on either?

EDIT: Wow thanks everyone! Def didn’t make the decision easy but I went with Radiant Dark for now. I will definitely be reading Girl with a Thousand Faces later as well.

When should I make my second account?

I'm thinking about making a second account this month because I honestly want all 6 books. When is it safe to create the account and not get charged for June? I'd rather not wait until tomorrow and try to do that at the same time as the drop, but maybe I have to?
