What happens after clearing the Capstone at Accenture?

Hi everyone,

I recently joined Accenture as an AASE, and my domain is Java Full Stack.

Last week, I received my Capstone result, and thankfully, I cleared it! 🎉

Now I’m a little confused about what happens next. Will HR or someone from Accenture reach out to me regarding project allocation, or do I need to take the initiative and find a project myself?

If I need to find a project on my own, could someone please guide me on whom I should reach out to or which team/person I should contact?

Any advice from people who have gone through the same process would be really helpful.

Thanks in advance!

Does .Net had market? And projects available? In Accenture?

I recently got the .NET stream in Accenture. I wanted to know how the .NET market is inside Accenture.

Are there enough .NET projects and opportunities, or is it difficult to get a .NET project after training?

Also, for people already working in Accenture with the .NET stream, how is your experience so far? Is it a good stream to continue with for the long term?

Any insights from current employees would be really helpful.

Salary on hold due to missed MYTE submission — leaving Accenture this Friday. Need advice

Hi everyone, I joined Accenture on May 25 and unfortunately missed my MYTE submission for the period of May 25–31.
My May 25-31 salary was eventually processed as an off-cycle payment and credited on June 5. However, my July salary was put on hold because of the missed MYTE submission.
A few other colleagues who joined along with me were in the same situation. Their July salary was also initially held, but it was later processed as an off-cycle payment and credited on August 5. Mine, however, is still on hold.
I raised tickets with both the MYTE and Payroll teams. Payroll told me that the payment is being held because of the missed MYTE. When I checked with the MYTE team, they said that all my timesheets have been processed from their end and asked me to contact Payroll again.
The frustrating part is that I’m currently on notice period, and my last working day is August 21 (this Friday).
In my latest ticket, Payroll told me that I can expect the July salary to be processed as an off-cycle payment on August 20. However, I’m not sure whether it will actually get credited tomorrow.
I understand that my August salary will be included in my Full & Final settlement, but my concern is specifically about the pending July salary. If it doesn't get credited tomorrow, should I immediately email HR/Payroll and get written confirmation that the pending July salary will be paid after my exit?
I’m also worried because once I leave the company, I’m not sure how easy it will be to follow up on a pending salary payment. The lack of visibility around these payroll issues has honestly been quite frustrating.
Has anyone been in a similar situation at Accenture where your salary was held because of a missed MYTE submission, especially when you were leaving the company? Did you eventually receive the pending salary through an off-cycle payment or as part of F&F?
Any advice on what I should do before my last working day would be really appreciated.

7 YOE as SAP. Accenture counter offer after Capgemini ₹15L fixed?

Hello all , I need advice on offer negotiation please help me !

I have 7 YOE in SAP functional consultant
With 2.5 year in support and at my current organisation I am working in Projects 2-3 Implementation Rollout since 2022.

Current: ₹10.7 LPA CTC / ₹9.6L fixed
I got only 28% hike offer from
Accenture: ₹14.7L CTC — ₹12.15L fixed + 21% variable, where I was not happy so now I have cleared both the rounds of
Cap Gemini: ₹15L fixed, no variable (currently pending business approval)
I prefer Accenture because of the location and 1 day/week WFO, which is more suitable for me as I have a baby. But offer is not so attractive ,
If I show Capgemini’s ₹15L fixed offer to Accenture, what counter can I realistically expect?
I’m thinking of asking for atleast 17L fixed + 21% variable. Is that realistic for 7 YOE SAP?
Also, has anyone recently received an Accenture counter offer in a similar situation? How much % hike did they get?

I tried convincing cap Gemini and Accenture to increase but the HR WAS so rigid and as my current fixed is 9.6 they did not give me much hike 🥲

sw & ai

Hey guys, I joined as an AEH on July 24th this year. Stream training starts on Aug 21. I wanted to ask if I can install some software for dev and use some ai instead of copilot?

vsc

py

java

git

chatgpt (online from personal account)

claude (same)

grok (same)

I'm not sure if during our stream, something is related to installation of these. All I want them for is to just play around when I'm in the office, cause nothing is happening rn, and I'm getting bored like anything.

Thanks

Accenture Bench Survival: Dodging Low-Code/Support for Full-Stack Java

Hii ,

I recently joined Accenture as an Associate Software Engineer (Level 12). During my pre-joiner training, I completed the MEAN stream and cleared my MyCompetency assessment in Advanced Front-End Development (Angular).

I just received my laptop on 17th AUG 2026 , While I have Angular certified, my core technical target is Full-Stack / Backend Engineering using Java, Spring Boot, Microservices, Kafka, DevOps, and Cloud.

My biggest concern right now is getting auto-mapped by algorithms to low-code platforms (Salesforce, SAP), generic testing, or L1/L2 production support.

I haven't been assigned a Buddy or Mentor in Workday yet, but I want to be proactive right from week one. I have a few specific questions for current employees or Accenture alumni:

Contacting RM: How should I approach my RM so they pitch me for custom Java/backend roles?

Handling PM Calls: What’s the best way to steer non-Java (Salesforce/SAP/Support) discussion calls away without flagging compliance?

MyScheduling: Can an L12 fresher directly ping PMs on Teams for open Java/Cloud demands?

Any advice, internal tips, or experiences on how to land a solid custom development stack in your first few weeks would be massively helpful!

Any advice for freshers joining Accenture?

I’m joining Accenture as a fresher soon and would love to hear from people who’ve already been through the process. Any advice, things to keep in mind, or mistakes to avoid during the first few months? Would especially appreciate tips around work, learning, socialising and making the most of the early career stage!

Working from a different based location

Guys, do you think it will be possible to work from a different based location other than mentioned on the offer letter?

How does it work?

Irrespective of the project -or maybe the team works in 2 cities.

just got assigned .NET stream, it was my LAST preference, is it OVER???

I wanted the Python stream and my second option was the Java stream, my whole interest is in AI/ML, the JD provided during college placements was also AI/ML oriented...

what the hell is this? is it over for my career?
