According to Billy Madison director Tamra Davis, Sandler told her in advance of the film's dodgeball scene that he planned to throw the balls hard and genuinely hurt the children. He did so, with parental permission, and she described the resulting scene as "a full-on assault" adding that every shot needed to be cut because the children were crying.

Best Sandler / Barrymore movie

There was a time I’d have told you Wedding singer or 50
First dates. I mean how could it be Blended? So silly and cheesy.
Sure enough, I’ll happily say Blended now.
Under the silly humor is a great family drama of a man dealing with the heartache of losing his one and only and trying to stay strong for his daughters. How the girls need that mother figure in their lives. Also Barrymore dealing with the betrayal and lashing out at her son’s “interests” because she obviously was hurt by a selfish man and she doesn’t understand boys, and their energy and their anger. Watching the families commingle and see how they needed that mother/father figure is powerful to watch. I love it and cry Everytime. I’m a sucker. lol

While the other 2 are good, I’ll edge 50 first dates has the better emotional payoff of those 2.
I guess being a married father changes it.

I heard that adam sandler wants to still take him in. He pays multiple millions for cgi, ai and possibly recasts to put him in this movie, talked with boyces family and spends money to the boyce foundation

does anyone remember this movie?

cant find it anywhere online but it was a childhood favorite

plot synopsis: Adam sandlers kid brings home a piece a paper with his name on it with numbers, and Adam sandler being a scientist notices dates in it correlating to disasters and theres a big one coming up this Sunday.
