My ESSA, Willis Wrinkles

This is my New ESSA Willis Wrinkles! He’s an Aurora brand Bulldog plush. If anyone has any recommendations on what his gear color should be let me know, I’m not great at pairing those things lol! Also I’m definitely interested in making him accessories and gear, so if anyone has advice on what I could make for him I’d love to hear all about it!

Does anyone else have a Bulldog ESSA? I’d love to see them as well as any other Plushies from the Aurora Flopsie collection!! 🦴❤️

Meet Axl

This is Axl. He’s one of my favorites, and he is Tuff and Fluff brand dog plushie. His fur is delightfully silky and one directional that is lovely to pet, and he’s extremely durable (fabric is reinforced with a mesh backing).

I got him and a purple triceratops named Violet from the same brand, they replaced two dinosaurs (a blue triceratops and green stegosaurus) I had as a child that were given away when I was four years old and missed ever since.

I’d love to see some of your plushies that were a happy unexpected replacement, or even your Essa in general :)

My other favorite plushies are:

Nimba (Douglas Cuddle Toy Klaus Belgian Malinois)

Slava (Douglas Cuddle Toy Fu Siamese cat)

Violet/Izzy (Fluff and Tuff dog plushie purple triceratops)

Shadow (Wild Republic cuddlekins black panther)

Pepa (WWF 15 cm red fox)

Bongo (Jellycat tiny Livi leopard)

Reggie (Jellycat Derrick bulldog)

I have found that after over a decade the Jellycat become very clumpy haired, slightly oily no matter how many baths the texture changes, while the Wild Republic after few months of daily use gets matted and feels dryer burnt despite being acquired new and never exposed to heat. The Fluff and Tuff and Douglas Cuddle Toys retain original fur texture the best.

Nimba by the sea

This is Nimba, a Douglas Cuddle Toys Mali. She is there for me after having to retire my real service dog too soon.

Her texture is excellent. She’s super cute. Doesn’t overheat my hands. I’d say I haven’t bonded as well as with other plushies cause she kind of reminds me of what I lost, but talking about her, sharing about her, and bringing her out helps our connection.

Introducing my chameleon

He is very old. Hair runs backwards, tried to fix by brush and iron. But he’s special to me. A gift. Even though he’s quite old I never did name him.

Any name ideas? I intend to add more accessories too.
