I just discovered Knight Rider wasn't unique. 😭

I've watched movies & shows featuring special cars, special planes, submarines, not to mention the diversity of space vehicles & habitations, etc., but I've never seen much helicopters except for the really average San Andreas movie, so I looked into what's best in that domain, and unavoidably heard about Airwolf.
When I picked it, I knew it was as old as Knight Rider, but what I didn't know is... It's the same thing. I don't mean the characters & plot (though I'm already seeing the main character behavior towards women thing), but the sci-fi parts : the interfaces & sounds from the displays, the sound of gunfire & explosions, etc.
I keep being reminded of Knight Rider all the time, and I don't like that, I wish it had its own thing.
But I suppose that would have been too expensive at the time compared to today, or something.
