How do you refiners actually decide what to refine each day?

I've been refining for a while (mostly leather/metal) and I realize my process is kind of a mess — I just check a couple city markets in-game, eyeball whether raw + lower-tier is cheaper than the refined sell price, and go with my gut on focus.

Curious how others approach it:

  • Do you actually calculate buy-raw-and-refine vs just buying refined, or eyeball it?
  • Do you bother chasing city refining bonuses + transport, or just refine where you are?
  • Do you bother chasing city refining bonuses + transport, or just refine where you are?

Trying to tighten up my process and curious if I'm overthinking it or under-thinking it. What's your routine?

Is Using Alt Character's Premium to Sell Cheaper Illegal

Hi everyone, I was experimenting with focus on a new alt character and noticed I could use the free premium to sell items at 4% tax instead of 8% in the marketplace. Afterward, I delete the alt and create a new one to repeat the process.

I made a short tutorial showing the steps, but now I’m concerned, could it be against the rules?

Edit: I've asked the Albion Online support team and they said it's legal, screenshot in the comments.
