Looking for a versatile niche summer scent.

I tried MFK GFS and loved it but I feel like I can do better, I find vibrato/imagination a bit too basic. Ganymede is brilliant but I have Bois imperial and both feel a bit too sharp for Dubai heat. I need something masculine and unique that projects and lasts well but it’s too cloying for an office scent. I want something luxurious but still feels fresh and clean. Any recommendations?

Need help finding a fragrance

I was gifted a bottle of cologne a few years ago once I used it up and threw the bottle away I want to repurchase it, but can not remember the name of it for the life of me. The fragrance had a cylinder shaped clear bottle with a clear fragrance inside the bottle, a white paper like label on the front and a black magnetic cap. A distinctive memory that I have of this fragrance was the black cap had some sort of insect on the top a Bee or a wasp or a dragonfly of some sort can anyone help me find this? I know it’s a niche fragrance so it may be tough. Thank you.

thinking of starting a perfume collection

i’ve been wanting to start a small perfume collection for a while now, and i’ve been really drawn to Diptyque. the four that have caught my attention are Ilio, Orphéon, L’Eau Papier, and Doson.

context: i live in the Philippines so i usually lean more toward powdery, clean, skin-like scents. nothing overly sweet, loud, or super floral. i really like fragrances that smell soft, cozy, and effortless, like “your skin but better.”

for those who’ve tried any (or all) of these:
- which one would u recommend starting with?
- how do they perform in terms of longevity and projection?
- are there any other Diptyque scents I should sample first? my bf told me Tam Dao is good too.

i’m also open to recommendations from other brands if they fit that powdery/skin scent profile.

thanks in advance!

ISO Summer Fragrance Suggestions

I’m a relative newbie to fragrances, but I’ve learned so much from this sub. So far, I’m absolutely *loving*:

- Salt & Stone “Santal and Vetiver”
- Maison Louis Marie “No. 04 - Bois de Balincourt”
- Glossier “You Doux”

Based off those, does anyone have any suggestions for a good summertime fragrance I might like? I seem to gravitate towards scents with sandalwood or amber notes, but I’ve been reading that those tend to ready as too “heavy” for hot weather wear.

ETA budget = up to $150ish

My favorite summer fragrances

I'm sharing three of my favorite summer fragrances. These are the ones I can reach any time fresh fragrances. They are not very expensive and easy to find.

Azzaro Chrome

It has been one of my favorites and reminds me of the fragrances from 1990s and early 2000 - fresh and floral. I'm not getting much into notes detail. For me this easily lasts 6-8 hours when sprayed on clothes. This is a fragrance I use for office or casual outings. It is quite versatile and works well with chinos and jeans. Some people may not like this scent dna as they might feel it is dated. I suggest they can some of its more recently launched flankers or parfum version. But for me this is summer classic.

Zara Lisboa

A very clean and easy to use fragrance profile. The opening is fresh heavy Bergamot citrus smell. Like Azzaro, it also has florals but it is largely a linear fragrance. This also works well in both office and casual settings but I use it largely for casual outings. Many claim that Zara Lisboa reminds them of the previous versions of Acqua Di Gio; I can't verify this claim. This lasts around 4-6 hours.

Skinn Raw

This is one of the best Skinn fragrance. A citrus sweet dna that works pretty well for Indian summer but it is unlike the sweetness of Rasasi Hawas. This is a fragrance I use for gym. I have observed that during sweating, raw tends to project a lot more. One of the reviewers claim this is similar to Aqua Di Gio parfum version but this one is a lot more citrus forward. Longevity of skinn raw is around 3-5 hours.

Which is your favorite summer scent? What is your experience of using these fragrances?

This. Smells. So. Good.

Sooooo this is my first Stronger With You. I decided to go with the Amber version because of a video review by a tiktoker. Oh man am I glad I did. Amber is one of my favorite notes and this is amber done to perfection. I literally give this a 10/10 it's so heavenly.
