**Emmaus/Macungie Area**
For those familiar with the Lehigh Valley, what are your thoughts on **Emmaus and Macungie** as places to live? Are they still good, family-friendly areas with good schools, activities, and overall quality of life?
I’ve also heard people say that the area is starting to feel more like **Allentown**. Do you agree with that, or do you think Emmaus and Macungie have maintained their own character? I’d love to hear honest opinions from people who live there or know the area well.

Like the post says, I need a studio. I'm looking to move in by the 4th of next month.

Got a teenage cousin in Allentown and she's big into metal and punk shows. Would love to get her to see more music and make local friends and to be a part of that scene. What are some good resources to stay connected to the local hardcore/death metal scene in PA?

I'm looking for websites, subreddits, instagram/Facebook pages. More underground the better.

Hi my name is Matt and my dad is Ken. It’s for him not for me. I’m usually good and fining shot but I can’t.

My dad is in he mid 80’s. He’s semi not kicking it and I just had to ‘literarily’ bust him out of the hospital. Anyway, he has been talking to his first high school girlfriend … her name is Barbra gene stout .. or a version of that. My mom passed from Alzheimer’s and her husband similarly … he lost her number ( it was on an index card and the hospital tossed it.

I’m very good at this shit but anything I call is an old number.

Just like the post says. I want a league but something casual to get back into shape, I haven't played in a while and don't know anybody here. Preferably grass or artificial grass/turf, not really into futsal.

i’m moving to the area but my lease doesn’t start until 9/12. i’m storing all my stuff in my friends garage and then moving into an apt that’s 5 mins away. we have a truck but could use two guys to help move things since the apartment is up one flight of stairs and i’m not particularly strong. was wondering if anyone had any recommendations and how much i’d be looking at for a few hours of work?

I have owned property in Allentown the past year+. This is hands down the most confusing and messed up place when it comes to all the tax bills and the horrible online systems that pretty much won’t take payment. Why do people put up with this?

My car was towed from a lot on N 7th St at midnight on Aug 1. Getting it back cost $725, cash only. They wouldn't tell me what the charges were for before I paid, wouldn't give me a receipt, and the itemized invoice only showed up about half an hour after the money changed hands.

$300 of that $725 was storage with three days at $100/day. Two of those days were the weekend, when they don't release vehicles and didn't answer either of my texts. So I was charged for days I had no way to end.

When I pushed back afterward they told me to take it to court.

I've since found a stack of reviews going back to last year describing the exact same thing. Rating is 1.7.

If this happened to you, two things actually matter: file with the PA Attorney General's Bureau of Consumer Protection (free, online, and they can act on behalf of everyone if enough people report), and file a complaint with the City of Allentown, since towers here are registered under Chapter 580.

Their office is in Allentown, PA. I live in Delaware, I’m wondering if I have to go through my states’ department of labor or PA, regardless, I’m also considering a lawyer. Does anyone know of a good lawyer for the area if I take that route? Thank you.

My car got towed for a non existent event that is supposedly happening on my street but one look outside and it is apparent that there is no event. Nor is there any enforcement of the parking rules now after I spent the $700 to get my car back.
I want to take them to court because this situation is utterly ridiculous but I am only 23 and I dont know what to do. If anyone has any tips for me that would be really helpful. What kind of evidence should I collect, should I talk to a lawyer, should I get more people to go along with me in my case?

I (23M) want opinions from current members about the gym, I've been thinking about signing up lately and want to seriously commit to going at least 4 times a week. So, would you guys recommend signing up there or another gym? In your experience what are the best hours to go? Are the classes good? Are the staff & people friendly?
