User Flairs are here, also We’re Giving Away Custom User Flairs 🎉 Comment What You Want Your Custom User Flair to Be (Make It Fun!)

Hello Alwar Fam,

Our subreddit now has its User Flair options! You can choose a flair from the existing Flair List, or if you want something more personal, just comment below with your own custom flair idea and we Mods will set it up for you.

Today we’re doing a little Custom User Flair Giveaway 🎁 valid until Saturday, 22/08/2026.

Comment what you want your own customized flair to be - make it funny, creative, local, chaotic, or just something that feels like you.

And don’t worry if you miss out this time, we’ll be doing these once every month, so everyone gets a chance to grab their own custom flairs too!

⚠️ A few rules for Custom Flairs:
Please keep them appropriate for the subreddit (and somewhat relevant too). Abusive, hateful, NSFW, or otherwise inappropriate flairs/comments will not be accepted. Keep it fun and within the spirit of the subreddit. ❤️

Now drop your flair ideas below 👇

IMPORTANT: Other than any suggestions or discussions, when requesting a user flair, please mention that it’s a Flair and DON’T WRITE anything other than the flair itself in your comment. This will make it much easier for us Mods to copy-paste and assign them!

Avoid Arch Space Interio (Alwar) — My Experience as a Customer

I’m sharing this because I genuinely wish someone had warned me before I paid this company.

My experience with Arch Space Interio, Alwar, and founder Yash Gupta has been extremely frustrating.

I made the payment for interior work and, even after more than 6 months, the promised work has still not been completed. What makes the situation worse is the amount of time and effort I've had to spend repeatedly following up, asking for updates and trying to get clarity on when the work would actually be delivered.

Six months is not a minor delay for an interior project. When a customer has already trusted you with their money, the minimum expectation is proper communication, transparency and completion of the agreed work.

Instead, I've been left chasing the company for something I had already paid for.

Based purely on my personal experience, I would strongly advise anyone considering Arch Space Interio to do extensive due diligence before making any payment. Get everything documented, clearly define deadlines and payment milestones, and don't rely solely on verbal commitments.

This review is based on my own experience as a customer and the six-plus months I've spent trying to get the work completed.

For me, this has been one of the most frustrating experiences I've had with an interior company.

For all the girlies of the sub.

A little appreciation post for all the girlies of the sub. 🌺

Sometimes the smallest, sweetest gestures remind you that you’re loved and thought of. Crochet flowers, little surprises, girl talk, random acts of kindness, showing empathy, we all deserve it. May we all receive kindness and love.

Don't ever recommend "BHAITAK" even to your worst enemy

I'm a regular gym goer and I usually don't eat fast food or proceed food at all. But I saw a post about baithak in the sub only and so I decided to ordered some food to reward for all the hard work I'm doing. Hence the point of truth arrives and as u can the reward on Image 2 . And that wasn't the only worst part , even the packaging was cheap like . So never giving myself a reward ever again 😭

What do you think of this and how to proceed further?Female perspective much.Don't need AI perspective.

should I send another text after 35 days?

Please try to understand the cultural context and the constraints.

She is dropped and picked by her family members from and to work so there's hardly any chance to talk to her as she is in a hurry at those times.Thats why I had to reach out via text.We are not colleagues and it's seems like both of us get nervous on seeing each other unless she is scared or not interested at all which doesn't make sense in context with the july 1 and other previous occasions.

📷 r/Alwar Needs a Banner - Send Us Your Best Shots!

Hello Alwar! 👋

As of now we don't have a subreddit banner yet in the community, so we thought why not make one together?

We're looking for photo submissions from the community to create a 5-7 photo collage that represents Alwar from different sides.

We're not looking for just the usual tourist photos. We want the collage to show the places, people, food, nature and little things that make Alwar what it is.

📷 What kind of photos are we looking for?

🏰 Heritage & History
Bala Quila, City Palace, Moosi Maharani, old buildings, architecture, etc.

🌿 Nature & Wildlife
Sariska, Siliserh, lakes, forests, landscapes, wildlife, sunsets, etc.

🍛 Food & Local Culture
Kalakand, Kachori, local food, markets, festivals and other things that feel uniquely Alwar.

🏙️ The City Itself
Streets, neighborhoods, markets, city life, iconic spots or anything that captures everyday Alwar.

📸 Something Uniquely Alwar
A hidden spot, a random moment, a local tradition, or simply a photograph that makes you think:
"Yeah, this is Alwar."

📝 How to participate

Drop your best few Alwar photographs in the comments below.

You don't need a professional camera - phone photographs are absolutely welcome. We're more interested in the story and character of the photo than perfect photography.

After the submission period, we'll select 5-7 photos from the community and combine them into a single collage for the r/Alwar subreddit banner.

We'll try to choose photos that give the final banner a good mix of heritage + nature + wildlife + food + city life + the unique character of Alwar.

So don't just give us Bala Quila and Siliserh shots only 😭 Show us those underrated gems too.

📌 Quick Rules

  1. Maximum 3 submissions per person - let's give everyone a chance to be represented.
  2. Submission deadline: 16 August 2026. Photos submitted after the deadline may not be considered.
  3. Photos should be taken in or around Alwar and have some connection to the city/region.
  4. Please submit your own photographs. NO photographs taken from Google, Instagram, Pinterest, etc.
  5. Light editing is absolutely fine, but please avoid heavily AI-generated or AI-altered images.
  6. By submitting, you give the r/Alwar mod team permission to use selected photos in the subreddit banner/collage.

The final 5-7 photos will be selected by the mod team based on variety, representation and how well they work together as a collage, rather than simply the number of upvotes.

Let's make our first subreddit banner something the community actually helped create. Show us the Alwar that you know. ❤️

📸 Drop your shots below!

Bike/scooty rental places?

If anybody can help out with the rental places in Alwar, that’d be great.
And places to visit in the city over the weekend that’d be a plus :)

Thanks in advance!
