Hello! I recently got prescribed Ambien to help with my insomnia and I'm a bit nervous about taking it, particularly because of the side effect like sleepwalking and complex sleep behaviors. I plan on taking this for sleep, not recreational purposes, so I have some questions.

Are there any ways to reduce the likelihood of doing odd things at night? If I take a smaller dose, am I better off?

Additionally, should I keep my phone out of reach, room clear to walk through, etc. if something does happen?

Any advice or help would be very appreciated! I'm very likely going to try taking some tomorrow night, as my insomnia is terrible tonight.

I cannot stop ordering random DoorDash shit at literally 1am. At least 4 times a week, sometimes more. I tried various blockers, but I just undo the settings and redownload. Is there a way to literally ban this app from ever being on my phone again ever? I’m unemployed. I’ve been ordering the most random shit like a single shallot, soup I don’t like, a ruler ?, Christmas cards in summer, a bunch of fast food that I am not supposed to eat with my food allergies. Ughhh it’s draining my savings and making me gain weight. I wake up surrounded by wrappers, melted ice cream, half a pizza, gummy vitamins? Like, idk how long it’s going to take me to get a new job but this cannootttt continue.

PLEASE HELP. I’ve tried pretty much every blocking app or combination of settings out there.

I’m not smart enough to not order useless shit on Ambien, but APPARENTLY I’m smart enough to bypass every lock and hurdle I set when sober.

(Also I planned 16 trips last night that would cost under $2000 for a week. Then I drew a weird monster and texted my parents that I loved them at 3am… BUT AT LEAST THESE ARENT DRAINING MY SAVINGS!

I would guess the Boardwalk Hall Auditorium Organ (150 tons) or flute (0.00113 tons). If it counts there is a cave that plays rocks music from its stalagmites and stalactites, but a cave is empty space so it doesn’t weight anything (0 tons 🥀).

For those who Drs watch you ambein intake, where are you guy getting them from??? Know they out a cap on what they can prescribe but I heard there are some great website that sale legitimate sleeping pills that will help us! Anyone want to share?

Maybe a little sleepier but not as completely zonked as I normally get with this dose - I usually do 6.25 maybe once a week but tonight decided to double it, but I’m not feeling a difference

I experience face thinning, or at least it looks like that, when I take Ambien/Zolpidem. I take it and 20min later my face is like someone sucked all the water and fat from it..And I'm not a fat guy, 38 male, do sports, 5"7, 152 pounds. Anyone else noticed face thinning properties? Only short term though.

This is my second time filling an Aurobindo brand Zolpidem (10mg) for the month and every night i’ve taken it so hard you couldn’t convince me this stuff isn’t just sugar pills. One one night I gave my uncle who hasn’t slept in days a pill from my prescription and it didn’t even knock HIM out. He still couldn’t sleep.

It’s going to kill me to have to wait another whole month to get my fill and request either name brand or another generic manufacturer.

What options are yall aware of in a situation like this? Not like I can just return the bottle back to the pharmacy since I already left with them.

What can I do?? Northstar i never had this issue before. There’s something wrong w these pill, maybe little to no active ingredient(kinda like what’s happening w adhd meds)

It’s not a tolerance issue. I go weeks and sometimes months without taking ambien.

Also obviously don’t eat ANYTHING 4 hours prior.

Used to take 1 pill to aid my sleep. At that moment, you can only get a little bit high and some visuals.
Accidentally mixed this with DXM once, results a very good trip.
So now I'm wondering if I only use Ambien as a recreational drug, what effect can I get?
