I'm sure that amelie would use the laugh emoji Or she would use telegram or some other messenger where you can type your own emojis like discord.

Well what emoji do you think she would use a lot? And her profile picture on Twitter would be either a Gnome or a silly close up of her face.

If she did use social media it would be a very niche app she would never use a big ones as they are quite bad. Maybe just a chat group on discord with two of her internet friends from all around the world.

These movies are perfect as they are and making a sequel would prove futile. Firstly the movies were made 30 years ago the world is not the same.

They won't be made in that better world that they were released in, but the crappy dystopia of today. That would affect the film.

The budget would be too small because of the same reasons.

For amelie, they wouldn't have the same actress and the director said Paris is full of construction now and too ugly to film because of that.

Both movies were lightning in a bottle and not only can the directors not make a movie as good as them, NOBODY can.

It would be like trying to remake LOTR peter Jackson which will not only make them worse it would ruin the legacy of the old films as well.

So this is my opinion on why these two movies about girls with short bob haircuts should not be remade or made sequels of. Do you know of any others?

In the early 2000s, I think my sister must have been listening to the soundtrack so that was my first contact with the movie, which I saw later on.

I remember our art teacher at school played us some of the OST and asked if anyone knew what it was.

I was the only kid that realized it was from the amelie movie and she was impressed.

I'm a millennial, I'm sure this generation has a special love for it because it came out when we were kids. I was 12 when amelie was released in 2001.

Ever since I first watched it , amelie has held a special place in my heart, the movie resonates with dreamers all over the world. It shows us how life should be, not how it is. A little fairy tale snapshot of the late 90s and early 00s.

I'm sure that a movie like that comes once in 1000 years.
