My Bayonetta Amiibo doesn’t work

bought a Bayo amiibo from Game stop online and it came just today, but it doesn’t want to work. What’s wrong with it and how can I fix it?

Does these go up in value or is just unlimited print?

Found this deep in my closet but I dont use Nintendo anymore and I like sephiroth but was just curious does these hold value and go up like pokemon. Not selling this, just curious about amiibo since I dont collect them

Display finished!

It started 2 years ago scouring Marketplace for a couple of my favourite characters, and quickly spiralled into a lot more. While not strictly limited to Amiibo, I was very careful in selecting other various figurines (World of Nintendo 2.5” and customs on Etsy) of appropriate size to complement them.

Edit: the final piece added was the Majora’s Moon pin. I was saving that purchase for when I beat Majora’s Mask for the first time, which was last month. It turned out to be my favourite game of all time.

Does the Metroid Prime 4 Samus amiibo have any functionality in Metroid Dread and Super Smash Bros Ultimate?

I can't find this information anywhere, everywhere only talks about older Amiibos, and I read a post on Reddit saying that at least around the time of the Prime 4 launch Metroid Dread didn't recognize the Samus Amiibo.

Street Fighter amiibo collectors album is here !

3 years ago I made an Animal Crossing Welcome amiibo album, that can be found here:

You can now make your own Street Fighter album with the following files:

I took the basis of an existing album (NOT the fifth, it doesn't have enough plastic sheet):
- sticked the sticker paper directly on it
- took the plastic sheets from the existing album

If you want to do it, here are the steps :

  • First you need an Animal Crossing album with enough page to stock your cards. Album series 1,2,3 or 4 are ok, NOT 5.
  • Then you can download files in my google drive folder.
  • If you have Photoshop, you can download .psd files and edit as you wish.
  • If existing .pdf files are ok for you, you can print them directly from the Prints directory.

Once you have the files you want, you need to go to a printing shop:

  • Characters pages need to be printed on a glossy sheet (I choose to print on a 135g/m²). When printing, make sure both sides are aligned with margins in the right place.
  • The cover and inside files need to be printed on a vinyl sticker sheet. (you need to find a printing shop that do this kind of print). To remove the pages from the old album, you must pinch the top of the inside piece of the white clip (try to not break them, we will put them back).

Finally, you can reassemble all the pages with the plastic cards holders AND VOILA!

P.S.: I really don't know the Street Fighter franchise, I just do it for the fun.

VGP Amiibo packaging

So I am an in-box collector. Going to be on vacation when Splatoon Raider amiibos come out. I usually buy them in store for best condition. Anybody had experience purchasing amiibos from VGP and if they package them good? Or return policy if the packaging comes damaged?

Unboxed Dedede Tank Star is another megachonker.

Picked up this absolute unit this morning from EBGames. I think I was underestimating just how big it'd be compared to the other Air Riders figures but putting him next to the Kirby one makes Kirby look positively tiny by comparison.

Even next to other Dedede figures he looks huge, and shiny. I still think Fat Pikachu takes the crown, but only just.
