Which committee should I join as an AMV freshman?

Hi! I'm an incoming AMV freshman and I'd like to join an organization, mainly to gain experience, develop skills, and have something valuable to put on my resume.

However, I also know how demanding AMV can be, so I don't want to overload myself with organizational work at the expense of my academics or personal life.

Given these committees, which one would you recommend for someone who wants a manageable workload while still gaining meaningful experience?

• Operations Committee
• Research and Evaluation Committee
• Crisis Management Committee
• Sports Committee
• Finance and Sponsorship Committee
• Community Development Committee
• Academics Committee

If you've been part of any of these committees, I'd really appreciate it if you could share:

- What the typical workload is like
- Which committee is the most manageable for an AMV student
- What skills you gained and whether they're useful for internships or your resume
- Any pros and cons based on your experience

Thank you!

TO COMMUTERS HERE

Hello! I’d like to ask those commuters if mahirap bang I manage ang time if I have to travel back from home to UST everyday for 1 hour?

I have an option kasi to use dorm beside UST or just stay sa house. Money isn’t the problem naman, but im more concern with the demand of having to commute 1 hour with 7:00 am class (+ the workload of AMV since it might affect my time management). However, im still reluctant with it.

If ya’ll could help, ano benefits/down side of both being a dormer and a commuter? Thankyou

When do freshmen usually buy the Type B and PE uniforms?

Hi! I've already bought my Type A uniform, but I'm wondering about the Type B and PE uniform.

I have a few questions:

- Do freshmen need to buy the Type B uniform before the school year starts, or is it usually purchased around the second semester?

- Where to usually buy it?

- For the PE uniform, do we buy it before classes start, during orientation, or once PE classes begin?

I don't want to miss the selling period or end up buying something too early if it isn't needed yet.

I'd appreciate any advice. Thank you po!

how fast paced is amv?

How fast-paced are classes in AMV? Do professors teach new lessons every meeting, or do they spend several meetings on one topic for mastery?

On average, how many new topics or chapters do you cover in a week?
