Honestly my heart breaks sometimes seeing her old videos. How clever and snarky she was. Ugh. She would’ve been such a cool old person.

Can someone tell me why this performance was removed from youtube ? I dont know the specifics but i know she famously quoted "Can I have a banana daiquiri, please? I'm serious.". Id kill to watch this performance again , it was my favorite; to anyone who can help thank you .

I thought the label would never let it get on there given its subject matter and how it could influence people in a bad way. I thought labels generally would not allow anything like that, particularly with something that explicit.

I was at a record shop in Edinbrough yesterday and they had about a dozen amy winehouse bootleg records. I didn't have time to browse but plan to go back Saturday. What are people's favorite bootleg records? Any that are famously bad? I don't ever see them in the states so wanna grab some here!

How come they arent archived anywhere? Does anyone have a google drive (or something similar) i could access? I would even try to make one on her fandom .com page but idk where and how to start 🥹 There are some amy fan accounts on insta but they arent in the original quality or filter, dont have the dates/photographers & crew info or arent uploaded in full.

I’ve noticed that a few Amy Winehouse songs seem to sound slightly different depending on where I listen to them. It’s not necessarily the whole song — sometimes the intro is different, the beat sounds slightly changed, or certain parts of the instrumental sound different.
For example, “What Is It About Men” has a noticeably different opening on Apple Music compared to the version on YouTube. The YouTube version has the original opening, while the Apple Music version has a different intro, and honestly it throws me off because I’m so used to the original.
Has anyone else noticed this with other Amy songs? Are these alternate versions/takes, remasters, or did the songs actually get edited for certain releases?
