Android Aluminium OS no beta

For QPR there are 238974 betas but for Aluminium OS zero betas?

Will Aluminium OS betas be here or other Reddit?

Is there any information about if Google Books will have Google apps or like Chromebooks just PWA (www)

Why zero information about them when they will be released in few weeks?

Pixel 11 eligibility

Iirc when the pixel 10 launched it had same day eligibility of the beta program. Does anyone know of the same thing will happen with the pixel 11 series? If not tomorrow, will it be later this week? I would assume Google will do 3.1 patch sometime soon within the coming week or two.

How to opt out of Android Beta without wipe?

Hello, so I am stupid and wanted to try new pixel features before the full release but i didn't know I'd get to try the bugs too. I just updated my phone (Pixel 7) to the latest Android Beta version. Never faced any problems before since i have been on this for a year now, but this recent update has been infuriating. First of all my apps in the app list menu are not alphabetically arranged anymore and change positions every time i open an app. Secondly, my Private Space is like gone. Idk if its really gone but it doesn't open anymore, keeps sending me to the settings page for Private Space. Another bug is sometimes when I open my apps list, the apps just aren't there, i cant see shit, neither can i search for them. I have to restart my device every time this happens and its happened quite some times.

Is there any way i can opt out of this without having to wipe my phone? Or do i have to live with it. Also i don't have a PC or laptop to backup stuff from my phone. Advice would be appreciated!

[Android 17 Beta 4] The constant "Turn on mobile data?" popup desperately needs a "Don't ask again" checkbox.

Hey everyone,

I recently switched over from a Samsung phone, so I'm used to having a dedicated mobile data toggle. I added a custom mobile data tile to my Quick Settings, but the current behavior in Beta 4 is driving me a bit crazy.

Every single time I tap the tile to turn on my data, I get hit with this popup:

>"Turn on mobile data? Using mobile data may incur charges based on your mobile service plan."

I totally get the safety warning for the very first time you use it to prevent accidental charges, but having to confirm it every single time completely defeats the purpose of it being a "Quick" Setting. There is no way to turn this off in the settings, and no "Do not show me this again" checkbox on the prompt itself.

I already submitted a proper bug report through the Feedback app. I wanted to see if I'm the only one annoyed by this? Thanks!

Here is a screenshot of the popup: https://imgur.com/a/Jyo04Ts

incoming and outgoing calls are not working on my google pixel 8 pro

Everything was working fine when i was using android 16, then i have updated my pixel 8 pro to android 17 beta version when the issue rises, incoming and outgoing calls not working, then i unenrolled from beta program and shifted back to android 16, the issue then resolves but when my phone updated on stable android 17 the issue rised again and still persists. I am helpless and done everything to solve the issue from restarting the phone to resent network setting but the problem is still there.

Google Pixel 6 Pro and Android 17 Beta BIG MISTAKE

Google Pixel 6 Pro and Android 17 Beta update Big Mistake??

Upgrading to Android 17 Beta on a Google Pixel 6 Pro is a HUGE MISTAKE

Google fails to warn Pixel 6 owners clearly, this is the part that really stings.

Google did not properly warn Pixel 6 owners that: Android 17 Beta was a dead end.  No stable Android 17 would ever arrive.

Exiting the beta would require a forced rollback + full wipe and bugs will never be fixed.

The device would be stuck on a buggy build until rollback. They simply let enrollment happen with no notice.

The result: Pixel 6 owners got stuck on a “no‑future” beta ending up on a beta build with no upgrade path. Experiencing bugs Google will never fix. Forced to wipe the device to return to Android 16.

Wondering why Google even allowed this to happen....

For those reading this notify Google of this stupid choice they allowed ...

It has diffinetly provide a very sour taste for me for Google Products.  I am sure this will carry over to how I talk about any Google Products.

App List in Random Order?

Has anybody else experienced this (G Pixel 9, DEV (CP41.260731.005.B1)). Phone updated overnight and now the app drawer list is random? There's also now private app drawer at the bottom anymore. Very odd.

Edit. I have already made a report in the feedback app - the post is to see how widespread the bug is

Opted out 2 days ago, still no wipe/stock update available.

I opted out a couple days ago, still haven't received the update that wipes and installs stock. I've been manually checking for updates constantly. I've rebooted my phone multiple times, always shows me the beta message at first boot.

I did a factory reset maybe 30 minutes or so before requesting to opt out, did that maybe screw something up?

I'm kinda waiting to fully set my phone up again until it's wiped and put back on stock. Why is the stock update not showing up?

Can't download QPR1 Beta 9 system image

It's been 9 hours since Beta 9 was "supposedly" released and I'm still stuck at the "404. That’s an error. That’s all we know." page. I'm not sure if this is a bug or if I'm doing something wrong.

5G & 4G VOLTE not working on pixel 6 in Srilanka

Even if 5G technology is officially available in Sri Lanka, it cannot be used on the Pixel 6 phone. Also, Google December 2026 feature update, above Pixel 8 phones have been confirmed to have LTE technology in Sri Lanka and can still be used on the Pixel 6 and 7 models. It would be great if they updated this to stop supporting the Pixel 6 after the October update.

Unable to leave Android Beta Program on Pixel 9 Pro XL

Hi everyone,

I’m trying to leave the Android Beta Program on my Pixel 9 Pro XL, but I’m running into a strange issue.

When I go to the Android Beta Program page, it says:

“No eligible devices associated with this Google Account.”

The Pixel is definitely using the same Google account that I originally used to join the Beta Program.

I’ve already contacted Google Support, but unfortunately they weren’t able to help me. They basically told me that because the phone is currently enrolled in the Beta Program, their support options are limited.

What I want to do is leave the Beta Program without losing any of my data. I understand that opting out immediately may require a factory reset/downgrade, so I’m perfectly happy to wait until the appropriate stable/public Android release becomes available and then leave the Beta without wiping the phone.

The problem is that since my device doesn’t appear on the Beta Program website at all, I have no way to opt out.

Has anyone experienced the same issue?

Is there another way to remove the device from the Beta Program, or will I automatically get moved back to the stable channel once the corresponding official version is released?

Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks!

Will I ever get stable version of CP31.260623.005 without data wipe?

I had opted out of the Android Beta after installing CP31.260623.005. I am getting an update for the stable version but it's gonna wipe the data. Is there going to be a stable version of CP31.260623.005 without the data wipe? If yes, when should I expect it?
