Legion Y900 13 inch (2026) Netflix Widevine

I've checking the whole internet to know if the new Legion y900 13 inch supports Netflix's widevine L1, but unfortunately looking at the screenshot I made from a Vietnamese yt channel, it only supports Widevine L3.

Sharing this for information. Will it be updated to L1 if there are new updates on the OS?

Source: https://youtu.be/pYX3T0Zt370?is=QW7WJihWZ8Fp6cnc

PS: I'm planning to buy the y900 or s11 ultra, but i like the look of the y900 especially with original keyboard. I'm just wary of lower level of widevine if the y900 tablet.

Lenovo Y700 Gen 5 Extended Mode with Docking Station

Can also connect keyboard and mouse for emulation games that require them. I know that the performance is not that great compared to console or an actual pc but this can still play games and some old triple AAA games decently. Also its a good thing that this device can do bypass charging.

Galaxy Tab S11 vs OnePlus Pad 4. Buying one for the next 5 years. Need advice from long-term Android tablet users.

I've been going back and forth between the Samsung Galaxy Tab S11 and the OnePlus Pad 4, and I genuinely can't decide.

My usage

  • 80–90% YouTube and Netflix
  • Some web browsing and Reddit
  • Casual gaming
  • No video editing
  • No productivity or laptop replacement

My dilemma

Galaxy Tab S11

Pros

  • AMOLED display
  • Better HDR and contrast
  • Better blacks for movies
  • S Pen included
  • Samsung has a good software reputation

Cons

  • Uses the MediaTek Dimensity 9400+ instead of the Snapdragon 8 Elite
  • Smaller 11-inch display
  • Costs around ₹10k more

OnePlus Pad 4

Pros

  • Snapdragon 8 Elite
  • Huge 13.2-inch display
  • Excellent battery
  • Better performance headroom for the future
  • Costs less

Cons

  • LCD instead of OLED

My questions

  1. If you were keeping the tablet for 5 years, would you prioritise the better display or the faster processor?
  2. Has anyone here owned both a premium OLED tablet and a high-end LCD tablet? Is the OLED difference still obvious after the "wow factor" wears off?
  3. Do you think the Dimensity 9400+ will still feel fast enough for media consumption and general Android use 5 years from now?
  4. If you had ₹70,000 to spend today, which would you buy and why?

I'd really appreciate opinions from people who have actually used these devices or similar flagship Android tablets rather than just comparing benchmark numbers.

What's the chance the Legion Y900 will end up having widevine 1?

The 13" base model (2026) is only 400 USD (price I can get it for). This is the snapdragon elite version.

However Chinese social media hasn't confirmed widevine 1 yet but the ones from previous years ended up having it.

I know it's speculative but would like to hear other past Legion CN rom users and see what your experience has been.

TIA

Had this for 15 yrs, should I get a better one, and if so what.

Had it for 15 yrs barely play on it because can’t install google play or AppStore like on my phone and I don’t bother playing Roblox because either I get disconnected as soon as I open games like forsaken up or I have to turn the graphics all the way down and it still freezes. Also the screen is too big since I’m used to the phone more and when I try in my tablet the buttons get messed up so I have to change them when I switch between my tablet and phone. I mainly use my tablet when my phone overheats and has to cool for 3-5 minutes or when it’s charging, which takes at least an hour.

Best multi-use family tablet?

My kid needs a tablet for online classes, and I occasionally use it for work docs after work.

We barely use it at the same time, so buying two separate tablets would cost too much. My maximum budget is $400.

What I want:

  1. Something with an eye-friendly screen so my kid’s eyes don’t get strained from hours of use.

  2. Battery life needs to hold up through a full school day of lessons too.

  3. Bonus points if it comes with all necessary accessories out of the box so I don’t have to buy extras separately.

4.Android OS preferred.

Any recommedation?

Suggestions for buying Tablet

Hii. Need suggestions on buying an android tablet. My needs are - note making, pdf reading, and watching movies.

Very importantly the stylus (pen) should be smooth and should work for coming years because note making is my primary agenda.

I'm considering REDMI, SAMSUNG, LENOVO. My budget is under 30k.

Anyone interested in swapping tablets?

I purchased a 2025 Lenovo Yoga Tab 11.1" back in March. It's a beast of a tablet (12GB/256GB, Snapdragon 8 Gen 3, 144Hz 3.2K display), and comes with the detachable keyboard and Lenovo Pen Pro. I love it, but I'm looking for something bigger (13"-14"). Doesn't necessarily have to be the same specs, and I'm even open to iPads. I could buy one but I've seen a lot of people on here experiencing buyers remorse after purchasing a large tablet. With that said, I'm looking to see if anyone with said remorse might be interested in swapping tablets? 😅 Mine is only a few months in and is excellent condition.

ipad vs samsung tab vs ipad air

i have just graduated from high school, and am looking to buy a tablet for university (cpge if anyone cares). I will not be using it for note taking since smart devices other than phones are not allowed in class. i need something for writing my summaries and for multitasking like like per example opening a document or browsing while doing math exercises on the tablet, or watching a youtube video and writing summary at the same. so basically I'll be writing a lot on it.

For context, I currently have a mba and an iphone. If I go for an ipad or ipad air, I will not be getting the official apple pencil or case because theyre too expensive, ill go for some third party accessories

at first i was gonna go for the ipad air but then i though about these other options so i can save some money since im from a developing country and my family arent rich. which options would yall recommend ?

Trying to choose between NXTPAPER 14 and NXTPAPER 11 Plus - Primarily for reading comics, manga, and tabletop RPG books

I'm looking to finally upgrade from my Samsung Galaxy Tab A7 (SM-T500) that I've been using for years.

My Current Tablet

The relevant Tab A7 specs are:

  • 247.6 x 157.4 x 7 mm (9.75 x 6.20 x 0.28 in)
  • 10.4 inches, 307.9 cm^(2) (~79.0% screen-to-body ratio)
  • 1200 x 2000 pixels, 5:3 ratio (~224 ppi density)
  • Android 12
  • Qualcomm SM6115 Snapdragon 662
  • Octa-core (4x2.0 GHz Kryo 260 Gold & 4x1.8 GHz Kryo 260 Silver)
  • 32GB 3GB RAM (4GB RAM Plus)

What I Use My Tablet For

I have been utilizing this daily for years. I primarily read comics on it (via Mihon, Marvel Unlimited, DC Universe Infinite, Shonen Jump, and Viz Media). I also have a large collection of Tabletop RPG related PDFs (game books and supplemental material, pretty much all of it a larger than regular size).

I also would like to use it for browsing my purchased RPG related content on the Demiplane site. And potentially the Alchemy VTT, but I do not know how well that will work on a tablet.

I would not use it for reading regular ebooks. I have a Kobo for that.

Occasionally, I will stream Netflix/Hulu/Crunchyroll/whatever.

I am interested in upgrading for a few reasons.

  1. Bigger screen
  2. Higher quality screen for ease of eyes/reading
  3. Performance upgrade (this is less important, but if I'm buying a new tablet, I'd like it to perform better).

Initial Thoughts

My first thought was the NXTPAPER 14. At such a large size, it would be similar to reading an omnibus-sized graphic novel at all times. This is awesome. It's got more memory, more storage, the screen has the nxtpaper technology.

The large size would make it perfect for my TTRPG related activities as well.

HOWEVER, after doing a little more research, I had a few concerns that pushed me to look at the 11 Plus. They are as follows:

  • The sheer weight of it. I mostly read in bed or on the couch, so this probably wouldn't really be an issue.
  • The 60hz refresh rate. I don't really care that much about this, but I noticed some people mentioning ghosting.
  • The pixel density. At only 202 ppi, that's actually LOWER than the Galaxy Tab A7. However, I am not an expert in this at all, and I don't know how much of a difference this would really make in practice.

The 11 Plus resolves all of these issues, but it is only slightly larger than my current tablet.

tldr

Which NXTPAPER tablet should I get to upgrade from a Samsung Galaxy Tab A7 (SM-T500). Currently leaning toward the 14, but I'm just slightly concerned about its weight and the pixel density.
