Live footage of MHA fans when you tell them that it's not the peak of heroism to risk everyone else's lives to save a willfully irredeemable villain who's in the process of destroying everything:

I'm just a cynical guy who definitely thinks Homelander is a better hero than the glourious Izuku Midoriya because how dare I criticize him? All of his actions are perfect, heroic and well thought out!

I can really applaud their dedication and their vision but this was brutal for the animators and the audience

Context, for Haruhi Suzumiya "The Endless Eight" arc, they aired the same 8 episodes as the characters are in a time loop, which is kinda iconic but they decided to remake everything from scratch from the animation, voice acting and even music...again I applaud their dedication but damn.

A lot of people brushed this off as quirky "waow smoking cat girl" anime but that's just the hook to get you to engage with an accurate depiction of depression, addiction and executive dysfunction.

(Yes it's gross, as in shots of literal feces, but so is addiction!)

Between it being a gacha I genuinely think the combination of idol and horse racing is off putting as both industries are full of abuse and disturbing situations.
