I reach the DLC quest-line where I am supposed to collect volcanic ash around Cinis (Cecilia’s island). I collected 3-4 of them. Now there are no more on the island and the task is still there. Can somebody let me know what is to be done to get the rest of the volcanic ash? To i need to wait to an eruption?
Anybody got an idea what could cause this? Reinstalled the game and updated my driver.
I can only repeat myself: no other Anno game has captivated me as much as 117. Hours of building and designin, especially with the new decoration DLC. It lets you transform Cinis into a thriving oasis, something that was missing before.
And yes, the city is still under construction; the Hippodrome and its neighborhood will go up on the right side of the river. The next project is a proper harbor 😅
I really like the religion system of Anno 117 and am really hoping for a DLC that fleshes out that part of the game in the future. As I have been thinking way too much about that, I wanted to share my ideas for a possible religion dlc. Please tell me what you think of it and if you have better ideas on the subject.
Help :(
My safe is screwed, even if i go back to older safe....
The moment i get the plague and my troops rescue a citizen. The game crashes. As workaround i moved my army back as even being on a different region didn't help.
However!
Now when the plague is over because the time elapsed... the game crashes...
I tried being in a different region.
I tried being at a different island.
I tried being in trade menu.
I play on ps5.
Does anyone have an idea how to fix this? I don't want to lose my safe after so many hours...
:(
Please....
Came by a lavender field in Provence, France and suddenly felt an increase in happyness!
Not sure if anyone else has this problem, but sometimes I’d accidentally delete buildings or roads because of a misclick.
It would be awesome if there was some kind of undo feature, like Ctrl+Z, even if it is just for a short grace period “like 3 seconds” where you could reverse your last action. It wouldn't need to work for everything. Even if it only undid your most recent delete, it'd save a lot of frustration.
It's a small quality of life feature, but I think it'd make building a lot easier. Anyone else want something like this?
Hi, I am confused and hoping someone can help me.
I have 3 lavender farms. All in reach of a warehouse and all connected to a cistern.
On my production screen it says my maximum supply is only 2 and I need another? I tried building another to see if it helped. It didn’t?
My lavender storage is at 0…. Any help would be appreciated.
It worked for other resources. But here, I'm having trouble—even with the "special" option, I just can't mine any gold.
Look at it, simply marvelous!
Hey all, I recently settle Albion 5 islands (was very late) 9 islands in Lat. Besides the higher end goods ie (togas, wine, olive oil, etc) does it make sense to ship like sandals, hats, reed shoes, cockles, to the other provinces?
I finally started playing again, first time building on Cinis. I was so happy when this octagon fit like a glove (really, i fits perfectly, you cannot move it one tile to the lower left to the mountain or upper right to the river). Then i wanted to outline my collosseum space right in the center....but i cannot fit it, it always will be off center, regardless of building it straight or diagonal. Im so sad.
Now im thinking of making a huge recreational park with the odd support building and my villa in the center and moving the collosseum either to the island on the right or right behind the city at the top, leaving the island for the upcoming Circus Maximus (which i think will end up being the largest building we get by far). What do you think fits better?
Bonus question: Do you think this is enough housing for 50k pops on Cinis? Thats kinda my target. Its 588 residences at this moment.
Anyone experiencing a hit and miss benefit for the +1 population from Porridge Stands? I noticed it after the last update. Playing Xbox.
UPDATE: I destroyed the Porridge stands that I added before I completed the research and rebuilt them and now I have the +1. For some reason, the upgrade did not affect the older Porridge Stands.
After loading my savegame, the trading post is not connected anymore, all quay buildings, walls and the villa (possibly even more) are invisible. I can't connect them either, and demolishing and rebuilding the villa didn't work. All that happend on all islands in both regions and in both the game I last started in May 2026 and one I hadn't touched sind 2025, does anyone have a fix for that?
The city of Italica, Roman province of Hispania. c. 117 AD.
The ears of wheat begin to dry their long stalks. Farmers prepare their tools for the upcoming grape harvest season. Summer comes and goes just as quickly, and the Roman machinery never stops. In Latium, the province approaches the construction of the Amphitheater of Italica in honor of our Emperor Trajano. Meanwhile, in Albion, the empire's borders twist in a fierce, relentless war.
Greetings, Governors."
Only lost 3 ships throughout all Waves.
I would like to have a layout that contains all the buff buildings for the needs of all levels of population, to manage fire health and happiness stats too, in an optimal layout that builds towards future unlocks as it progresses so minimal moving/deleting is required.
If that does not exist, I'll make it myself, but need the range + range increase per road type of every buff building for that.
I've had a few people reach out asking for some of my harbor designs. This is probably my most common grouping. Totally enclosed with archer towers at the harbor distance limit, spaced (mostly) radius to radius. Garum production and sardines take precedent, other harbor factories are placed where the amount and size meets my supply chain demands.
Often, I'd come across a situation where a resource on one of my islands is being massively over produced. Before I start dismantling them, it would be really great to know what that particular raw resource or intermediate product is used to produce.
Are there any guides that allow you to look up what production chain a resource is used for?
