Every time i check there’s nothing scheduled.

The town has changed so much since I was little. Where is everyone going with their toddlers? We have a 2 and 3 year old who were born in the northeast and are going to struggle with the heat. We will spend some time at mom’s house and at her pool but will need to take them places where they can run free and be active. Still working around a midday nap.

There was two Arlington PD units parked on the other end of the parking lot not doing anything about the many people popping fireworks. I personally dont have a problem with that its the not cleaning up I have a problem with. Is it legal? Its on Mansfield Webb Rd. Super surprised seeing AArlington PD basically just watching the show.

Any other casual cyclists in Arlington looking for people to ride with?

I usually ride from Village Creek to River Legacy on Saturday mornings at around 12–14 mph. For me, cycling is about getting outside, enjoying the ride, and getting some exercise, not speed training.

Most of the cycling groups I’ve found consider 16+ mph a “casual” pace, which would be a personal best for me!

If you enjoy relaxed, no-pressure rides and wouldn’t mind stopping for coffee afterward occasionally, let me know. It would be great to find a few regular riding buddies.

I work full time from dawn to 5:30pm. Only Mon-Fridays. Am looking for jobs in the afternoon where I can make some extra cash

Hey guys I won a competition and they are flying me out to Texas this weekend for the World Cup. Which means I will be there when Mexico plays. I wanted some recommendations of where would be a good sports bar or any spot where they will be showing the game. I’m from North Carolina and here we have different bars that are projecting it on the side of buildings.

Flying in Thursday afternoon for the game. I’ve seen the recs for either 225 or Hurtado, but it kinda seems like they sell out of food. Won’t actually be eating til 6ish, will it sell out by then? If I venture over the Terry Blacks downtown will that be a nightmare?

i bought a ticket for the mexico vs czechia match tonight at texas live but my friend backed out of going last minute. i’ve never been to texas live before so im not sure how rowdy it gets. is it a good environment for a solo woman in her early 20s? or is it more of a group environment & i should just sell my ticket lol

honestly the work culture in the mid-cities right now is so toxic. my buddy has been doing logistics sales over near the highlands for a few years and it completely broke him. the expectation to just drink with clients every single night and survive on zero sleep is so normalized it's disgusting

he ended up having a massive breakdown last weekend. the health insurance runaround we had to deal with just to get him help was an absolute nightmare, literal hours on hold just getting bounced between departments while he was in an active crisis

We finally just drove him out of the Arlington bubble entirely down to discovery point retreat in waxahachie just so he could be somewhere quiet and actually disconnect from all the noise

im just venting because im exhausted tbh. driving back up 360 today just made me realize how fast and loud everything is here all the time. Please check on your friends who act like the grind is their entire personality, it usually hides a lot of dark stuff
