Do I need a degree to go into entertainment design?

I am currently about to graduate with a bachelors in Architecture but would like to move more into entertainment design. That includes working in worldbuilding (for games, films, tv, theme parks etc) or set design. I have experience using the average architecture programs but also have expierence with After Effects and Blender. I am not too sure what I want to go into exactly. Would I need another bachelors degree? Would it be beneficial to specify exactly what I want to do and pursue a masters degree? Should I start looking for entry level roles? I currently live in London, and wouldn't mind continue to work and stay in London, but I am also more than open to moving to cities like LA, NYC, Vancouver or Toronto, to either work or study. Please help me!!!

Asheville NC Connections

Hey! I’m working on an indie in Asheville and wanted to reach out and see who in the art world is located there are close by.

I’ll reach out to the film commission as well, but thought this would be a good place to start. I’m PD but don’t know all the budget nitty gritty yet, so I’m not promising jobs but could be some day playing in there and maybe even commissioning builds, etc.

Thanks!

Client is asking Art Director to make dummy products that haven’t been produced yet

I asked the best local prop master, he has no experience making dummy food products and suggested asking a food stylist. But i would still need to make the packaging, or should i ask the client to provide it and switch out the labels for the new products? I also thought about diping the diferent cheeses in epoxy maybe? Any tips or ideas from someone who has experience with dummy products?
