Hi everyone!

I’ll be traveling to Germany for the first time in the next few weeks and I’m honestly really excited. I’ll mostly be staying in Aschaffenburg for work for around two to three weeks, but I’ll have my weekends free and would love to explore the area a bit.

Since this is my first international trip, I’d really appreciate any recommendations from locals or people who’ve spent time there. I’m open to traveling by train or metro on weekends if there are nice places nearby worth visiting around Frankfurt or other nearby towns/cities.

Would love suggestions for:
place’s to visit
good food or must try local dishes
cafés, pubs, nightlife spots
scenic places, hidden gems, local experiences
any tips/tricks that would help a first timer in Germany

I’m also a pretty spontaneous person, so I’m definitely open to random plans or checking out things I wouldn’t normally find online. Even if it’s just a cool local spot to hang out at on a weekend, I’d love to hear about it.

Hallo zusammen, nächstes Wochenende ist in Kleinostheim auf dem Parkplatz bei der Nähwelt Flach ein Flohmarkt. Ich bin am überlegen, ob es sich lohnt dort zu verkaufen. Hat jemand von euch ne Ahnung was das für ein flohmarkt ist? Also eher Ramsch oder viel neuware? Kommen Sachen für Kinder bis junge Erwachsene dort gut an oder eher weniger? Danke im voraus :)
