Anybody else's parts room basically a scavenger hunt?
Nothing better than finding the problem in 10 minutes and then spending the next 45 looking for the part.
System says 3 in stock. Shelf says 0. Eventually somebody remembers there might be one in a cabinet on the other side of the plant.
How do you guys actually keep spare parts organized? CMMS, dedicated parts guy or just tribal knowledge and hope?
