GUN SHOW

Crewed by Brother Sergei, and affectionately known as "Gun Show" by the troopers, long range fire and artillery support has arrived. Brother Sergei was a victim of a blast of warp lightning that fried his Black Carapace beyond repair. Unable to make use of his power armour, he has transitioned his heavy weapons specialty to its logical conclusion. Now he crews Gun Show, and continues to lay down heavy ordnance to support his squad. Importantly, the Basilisk is open-topped, so he can't wear power armour. I would lose WYSIWYG status!

This finally brings my Tyrant's Legion up to 1k points. I think I actually am about halfway now; on one hand, I have 100 conscripts to paint. On the other, I have already done the kitbashing, so I can just hit print and get painting!

Wanted to provide an update on my Lord Solar Leontus conversion. After last post I have taken some advice and this is the final result, thanks again for all the suggestions. 😊

Not sure if it would look cool to add a flying servo somewhere or not.

I was so hyped for the model when it was announced, and I’m also a big fan of the app. But I was wondering if I’m just stuck with this pdf I have of his data sheet or if GW plans on adding him into the app to make things just that much easier.

I know these are pretty darn similar but help me choose 3 color options going forward. I've painted about 100 guardsmen with the scheme on the left but find my current whites and yellows either time consuming or frustratingly chalky to apply. I've discovered I hate White Scar paint with a fiery passion. I can finish the guardsman on the right about 30% faster...

1. Bullion, braid, and trim: orangey yellow on left or pale yellow on right? Orangey yellow is a pink base coat with imperial fists contrast paint on top, Pale yellow is just straight Averland Sunset.

2. Coat: Darker blue on left or more vibrant blue on right? Darker is Macragge blue base with Gorthor blue highlights, more vibrant is Tallasar blue Contrast paint with Gorthor blue highlights.

3. White pants and hat: solid bright white on left or off-white with highlights? Solid white is White Scar, off-white is Corvax White with minimal White Scar highlights.

Stick with what I've already done or make the change? Thanks!

Put this Commander together for one of my Cadian Command Squads. Used the Galen ven Denst model from AOS as a base and some bits from a Castellan.
