Never hit the Atlanta scene, but also never met a stranger, definitely grabbing a ticket and seeing some of you there. 🫶

Sync Open Air is happening this weekend but I haven’t seen much about it anywhere. Has anyone been to past events and if so what should I expect?
(F/20) My birthday will be next June and I’d love to throw an actual rave for it. I know a few local djs (homies 😭)that would be playing, so I think they could help me set up decks/ speakers. I’m just worried about finding a venue. I’m scared if I don’t do it right it’d get shut down and I don’t want that. I’d also wanna have booze there since it’s for a 21st lmao. Just looking for any possible ATL venues, I’m a regular at iris so I’m not a bby raver or anything. Also wondering if $10 for a ticket seems like too much? Any advice welcome and appreciated! 🫶🏻
Hey, I was at CHAN on August 8th @ district. Had lots of fun, it was my first time at District! The visuals were amazing and the crowd was pumped. My only complaints is the pricing and the staff. The staffing was a lil bit rude and unwelcoming but hey it’s a club,I’m not really there for them. didn’t really tip the bar because I felt like the drinks were very underwhelming for the crazy price that they were charging. Turns out that even if you’re in the VIP section, you will get pickpocketed. Next time I’m bringing a sharpie and I’m writing “NO” in big bold letters on every single receipt I see. Call me cheap, idgaf, this isn’t how you operate business. What do you guys think?
I can’t stand DJs trying to force an ATL HOE chant every 5 seconds. It should be a natural, organic thing that the crowd starts when we are feeling your shit. There’s been too many visiting DJs trying to start it for themselves and it’s taking all the magic out of it. Dillstradamus last night was especially egregious. They had it on a sample and were playing it CONSTANTLY over every song. It was incredibly distracting and detracted from their set in a major way.
HITP tickets are live and can now be purchased! no affiliation, just a yearly attendee. awesome grassroots event that I look forward to.
I'm not very into EDM, but I'm going to a show here with a woman in a couple of weeks. The DJ is supposed to come on at 10 and I'm trying to think about what the later part of the evening will look like. - getting home, taking her back to her place, etc.
How long do DJs typically play and what is the crowd like around 1-2AM?
