Match day advice

Headed to Spain in the fall, and have two sons that are loosely a Real Madrid fan and (to be in opposition to his brother) a Barcelona fan. But they don’t necessarily watch all the games, or follow that closely even.

All that to say — Atletico hosts Barcelona while we’re there, and the stadium looks gorgeous. Maybe they see a great match and they can put their differences aside and have a new favourite team together, to go along with the memories created.

I imagine tickets to Barca and Real Madrid matches are probably the most expensive and difficult to come across for Atletico. Any locals have any advice on how we might best go about doing that? There’s 6 in our group, and I’ve gone on their website and asked to be notified when tickets go on sale.

A few years ago we went to Manchester City for a Champions League game, and we went from $200-$300 tickets in the upper deck to joining the fan club with two memberships and getting to buy $40 tickets 6 rows from the pitch. Does Atletico do anything like that?

And any other advice you can offer, let me know!

[Fabrizio Corona] Matteo Ruggeri allegedly pays women to send him blasphemous and racist voice messages insulting Black people. All while masturbating to these messages and recording himself to send the voice note to the woman he’s talking to.

>Even though he knows that FIFA’s new rules enforce a zero-tolerance policy against racial discrimination.

>Matteo Ruggeri would pay this woman €150 for each audio message she sends him.

>He also instructs her on how to say them:

>"Say it with a hard D" "say it really clearly enunciated" "like that"

Edit: More context

>Matteo Ruggeri (Audio): “Porco dio, say it with a ‘d’, and also dio porco. Say it properly, pronounce it like ‘parco dio’ [porco dio], like that.”

>Note: Porco Dio is an extremely offensive Italian blasphemous expression, literally "pig God." It's much stronger than English profanity.

>Matteo Ruggeri (audio): "Now say: 'God dog' (Dio cane), then 'God damn it' (porco Dio). Wait two seconds... then 'Dio porco.'"

>Note: Dio cane ("God dog") is another highly offensive Italian blasphemous insult.

>Ruggeri also asks the woman: "Does it bother you if I touch myself while listening to your audios?"

>Ruggeri sends another voice note telling her: "Tell me that you insult black people too and that you're racist."

Is Grimaldo our GOAT left back?

He came for free.

He won the Double.

He gave us iconic free kicks, unforgettable moments and one of the greatest chapters in Bayer 04 history.

Now Alejandro Grimaldo leaves for Atlético Madrid.

A hero says goodbye.

Is Grimao our greatest left back ever?

Anyone got any confirmation on if Ruggeri just got accused of paying women to send him racist voice messages to minorities are true?

this was for his sexual pleasure allegedly and i’ve seen plenty of evidence as we but it was just screenshots and AI is way too prevalent to rule that out

Seeing how much Ramos left for Sorloth may as well stay

Sorloth is a much better scorer (albeit that is all he is) than Ramos and Ramos has been bought for 74 million or something insane, that’s likely just a bad AC Milan choice but if that‘s the state of the market because of his bad strikers are rn I’d be struggling to find a good replacement.

Isn't it cool Barca and Madrid are both obsessed with ruining us

Time and time again they spin things in the media, their fans bully our fans, they insult and mistreat us, call us a small club and don't get me wrong it's annoying as fuck but like. The two "biggest clubs in the world " are obsessed with destroying us. We are the disruptors, the ones that the privileged hate because they know, deep down who is the real bigger club. Maybe not by fan size, but we have the best club and best fans in the world, we are the ones that get to fight against the two biggest in the world , who are scared that all of a sudden we can actually challenge them and are beginning to grow as a club and be more successful. They call us a "small club" but atleti is always in both their heads it seems. Like their so annoying, but it's pretty cool too

They don’t make players like Koke anymore.

A boy who grew up dreaming of Atlético Madrid, became its captain, rejected bigger paychecks elsewhere, and stayed loyal through every high and low.

From an Atlético Madrid kid to an Atlético Madrid legend.

Loyalty like this doesn’t exist in modern football.

He didn’t just play for Atlético Madrid. He lived it.

One club. One badge. One legend.

If Julian goes to Barcelona we should treat him like Courtois

No that is not an exaggeration or an overstatement. This guy is the biggest hypocrite, never have I seen a player have more “I love atletico” interviews and saying every single day “im not leaving, im not leaving”

And then now he tells ESPN he wants a transfer and he sees no future at the club. He couldn’t even last two years in a club that isn’t MANCHESTER CITY. I hope he goes to PSG or Barca and that he never wins the UCL again like Mbappe when he went to Madrid
