Your thoughts on Atlas at Richland apartment complex
Has anyone lived at Atlas on Richland? I am considering signing a lease here but all the photos are an artist's rendition so I don't actually know what it looks like... any insight is appreciated!

Hey I’m starting Auburn this January. My degree path is in biology. I don’t know anybody from here and would like to meet new people. I like to workout, run, hike and do whatever. I do like to drink with the boys. I’m coming from the army.
Trying to get outdoors more. Any good spots to hammock around town?
As everyone heads home for summer, I just wanted to take a second to reflect on the past year at MSU. East Lansing always has a way of turning chaos into memories somehow.
This year was a mix of late nights, random memories, stressful moments, great people, and a lot of lessons learned. Now that classes and finals are mostly behind us, it feels like the perfect time to leave some honest feedback that could help other students next semester.
If you lived off-campus this year, especially if you dealt with a landlord or property company, consider sharing your experience on https://judgemylandlord.com . Good landlords deserve recognition, and bad ones shouldn’t keep getting away with ruining students’ housing situations. Your review could genuinely help another student avoid signing a nightmare lease next year.
And if you haven’t already, take a few minutes to review your professors on https://www.ratemyprofessors.com too. A lot of students rely on those reviews when choosing classes, and honestly, the professor you get can completely change your experience in a course.
We have way more power as students than we think. Sharing honest experiences makes college life more transparent for everyone coming after us.
Hope everyone has an amazing summer, stays safe, and enjoys the break. And congrats again to all the graduating seniors ❤️
I'm a 31 male in a PhD program at Auburn University and I have found myself in an awesome town, but it seems like it is catered to undergraduates. That is great for the majority of the population, but where do you go to meet new people? Friends, dating, it doesn't matter.
Any tips would be greatly appreciated.

Hello all, me and my girlfriend will be moving to Auburn in June from Texas. She will be doing grad school. What’re your best recommendations? Places to eat? Places to see? Activities? Local spots? Parks?
We like pretty much all genres of food (pizza and pasta are our favorite) and are outdoorsy. We don’t usually go out to bars but open to suggestions. Also curious of what it’s like in the surrounding areas. We’re actually staying in Opelika.
Any good information about the area is welcomed. Thanks in advance!
My younger sister is an incoming freshman at Auburn. She’s currently on the standby list for housing, and she’s in the low 200’s. She moved up 15 spots in the past two days, and when she calls housing they said there’s still hope to get off the list and get a dorm placement. Does anyone else have any stories with the standby list? Should she keep waiting on the standby list, or look for an apartment and sign a lease. If so, what are some good apartments within walking distance of the campus that would probably still have availability? I know the likelihood might be slim but any advice and help is appreciated!
I just selected my tix renewal. Anyone know when you select/get the Baylor tix? Did I miss something?
I’m trying to build on my movie and show collection and looking for places to buy physical media. The Walmart on South College had like one shelf of combined movies/TV and that’s it. I assume the one up on Pepperell is the same.
I’ve already tried the Goodwill up there too. I was thinking maybe the Best Buy in Tigertown but looking for any other recs for places. I don’t mind if they’re used. Looking for in person places to get out of the house.
Thanks!
Hi everyone! I’m moving to Auburn this fall from the West to start a 2-year Master’s program, and I’m on the hunt for housing. Since I’d prefer not to move midway through my program, I’m trying to be thorough in my search.
I’d really appreciate any insight on apartments or management companies to avoid and why. I’ve never been to Alabama and won’t have a chance to tour apartments in person, so I want to hear from the current community on your thoughts.
I’m still learning Auburn’s rental market, but I’m aiming for a place that’s not the cheapest nor the priciest. I’m willing to pay a little extra for somewhere cleaner, safer, and better managed.
Any recommendations or tips would be greatly appreciated!
*I am also willing to take over someone's lease starting Aug 2026, but I'd rather not pay for the relet fees.
Who’s your best dentist in the area to go get your teeth cleaned?
I’ve been going to crunch for quite a while, it gets very crowded which honestly doesn’t bother me too much. It just never seems very clean and I never see the employees cleaning up. I’m on the search for a new gym that has a good variety of equipment and stays fairly clean. Maybe some good lighting too lol. Does anyone have any suggestions or places they go that they like?
Just want to say I'm not sure why Auburn's dumbass coach decided to put non-factor 100m sprinters in the 100m to begin with. Should of just left it with the guys who were kicking ass all season. Small eagle, ajayi, and azeem. Putting non factor sprinters like Tyler Davis cost ajayi a sec gold medal. I know people are going to say well he should have run through the line. No he shouldn't have he was clearly winning and he has a caliper where he can ease up in a prelim. He's literally a world class sprinter. He has every bragging right to ease up.
I honestly think his teammate is dead ass wrong for even trying so hard knowing he wasn't going to be a factor in the final knowing he's never medaled in anything. Tyler Davis cost the team so much in that moment. But to each its own. No disrespect to jelahni watkins he's a true stud. But this men's sec championship was supposed to belong to the Nigerians smh
Too late to apply to Auburn in May?
Trying to avoid Spicer’s
24 years old, played for a while but feel lack of direction, just want to develop a structure for practicing
Hey all! I recently built a a workout tracking app called Fortis: Workout Log & Tracker and am looking for Cincinnati students to try it out and give me honest feedback. It's kind of like Strava but for the gym. You can log workouts, track progress over time, build custom exercises and templates, and share progress with friends on the app.
Still early but I think it's genuinely useful if you're trying to stay consistent.
Free on iOS and Android. Would love any feedback, good or bad, if you give it a shot.
I’m a local musician in auburn/opelika area, wondering where the places to play music on friday and saturday nights are.
If anyone has any ideas drop them please. I’m not exactly looking to get paid but I have something in the works to play regularly at a place in opelika on saturdays that wants to pay me.
