INSOMNIAC TOOK OUR REAL IDS

my group and i got pulled to the side bc apparently we look young (bc we are young we are 21 and 22 lol) and the id check manager and other workers were harassing us for 30 mins, they took out ids and wouldnt give them back bc they said they were fake. (mind u we got them from the dmv)

she was making my friend pull up her bangs and saying her eyebrows look different, like have u ever heard of makeup and then she took our one friends ids for even longer and said we had to leave and show our personal information in our phone to get our id back. MIND U THESE ARE OUR REAL IDS. ofc it wasnt loading so we had to leave and comeback but my friend was crying be she needs her id for her new job and she thought they were gonna steal it from us. we told them we were gonna call the cops to get our ids back and the manager said it wasnt gonna do anything. like yes it was ur not gonna steal my id.

ur only job is to check ids how are you so bad at it😭

Edit: Username Bassnectarofficial (not sure if it’s real or not) just tried replying to white wash things, but the mods took it down. Hell yeah mods!

Bassnectar Getting Critical Reddit Posts Removed By Falsely Claiming Content Policy Violations

Recently, Bassnectar announced a show in San Jose that a lot of people are obviously upset about on account of his history of allegations regarding sexual misconduct and human trafficking. His team is deleting negative comments off of his instagram post and facebook post about it as one might expect.

However, someone made a post drawing attention to this on r/aves, asking people to email public leaders to pressure them to call the show off. His team is controlling all of the media around this to remove critical comments on social media, and now they're deleting reddit posts about this as well for apparently "violating the content policy":

I feel comfortable linking to the original post because I don't think this actually violates reddits content policy at all:

Going through the relevant rules:

Rule 3 (privacy) refers to personal or confidential information. Every contact listed is a public-facing professional or government email, that's not private information.

Rule 1 targets harassment of people on Reddit and attacks on vulnerable groups. Emailing a city government to object to a booking decision is civic advocacy, not harassment.

So i'm going to echo this person's call to action.

Anyone else see what went down with Ravehouse?

I’ve only been to a handful of Ravehouse shows, but this popped up on my timeline this morning and I had to get the full story. It looks like this DJ is someone who used to perform with Ravehouse and he has a pretty big following in the rhythm/dubstep I believe? But he was exposed to us through the Tea app and other people in the rave community that he was talking to a minor….he addressed it himself on an Instagram post on his profile but if you look at the comments, pretty valid response. He said he was 19 talking to a 16-year-old, but people are still grilling him for being an adult talking to a minor, justifiably so. Someone on Instagram also exposed that he committed like over $1k+ theft at Best Buy, which is allegedly one that he worked at. (All info is available publicly!)

Glad that Ravehouse took the steps to separate themselves from what’s going on with him, but I am genuinely curious to see how he even try to make a name for himself with these exposed allegations. I saw a screenshot of the conversation that was posted and the girl he was talking to herself was trying to get him to be aware of the fact that he was older than her and that there could be something wrong with it. Eek
