Is there any shows soon that I should
be looking forward to? I’m trying to have a fun summer and want to see some good shows. Please leave any recommendations.
Went to Ai warehouse last week for Hot since 82 and it was an amazing set but the crowd just wasnt it. It got packed around midnight and the only people moving or making way for others was in the back with times being only 1 line.
I was in the crowd with my friends then I went to pee and I couldnt make it back in because it was so packed. Like people literally would not let me in and I was stuck in the back by the moving lines and had to move nonstop. This wasnt even a sold out show but it was pretty packed.
Now at Echostage, where it always gets packed and sold out, people still are able to move through huge crowds sometimes even people push to get through then apologize for pushing but people still move. At Ai warehouse it was like a moshpit that didnt even move.
Is it usually like this? If so I might just not go to Ai warehouse again

Has anybody come across a kind of rude bartender who is at culture? It’s a white man with blue eyes and short ish brown hair and he gave a standoffish, rude vibe. I asked a question and he actively ignores me, so I asked the bartender next to him and she is very polite. However, the he responds to the question to her while actively dismissing me. I appreciate her reiterating his response he told her, but the dismissiveness from him was very rude. I’m not sure if it’s because of how I look, my skin color or anything like that, but I felt very uncomfortable. I do like the venue since a lot of artists I listened to tend to have small crowds and frequent this venue. However, I don’t wanna keep going to a venue where I feel uncomfortable asking a basic question without getting a nasty look from staff.
My bestfriend is coming to visit for the 4th and wants to DANCEEEE as do I. I can not for the LIFE of me find anything for this Thursday. I see a lot of events going on but nothing for edm. Is there any places people like to go that has good energy and good music on a weeknight? TIA :))))
A lot of people like EDM music but can't dance to it or feel off when dancing to it. The fix is salsa like classes but for EDM music or maybe just house. I've seen some very funny dance moves and I think this might be a great idea.
If you had 1.6M to throw a festival after production costs etc? The goal is to get the most people to come out for a 3 day event. Which headliners and direct support would you choose? Keep in mind how much major artists cost to book so keep it within reason. Give me some of the best you’ve seen live and would want to check out
Anybody going to IDEMI later? These boys are definitely on the come up, their production is incredible.
Did anyone else have their phone stolen at Echostage during DC Pride weekend, specifically at Toyland on Saturday night? I’ve seen a few IG posts from other people saying the same thing, and someone in my friend group also had their phone stolen there.
I’m wondering if this is an ongoing issue at Echostage or if there was a coordinated pickpocketing ring working the event. Curious to hear if others had a similar experience or know anything about what happened.
At this point, I wonder if exit pat-downs or some other security measure should be considered.

Want to warn everyone about a guy that goes by Tyler Roton on Facebook. Him and I connected on reddit for Rufus tickets. All though his reddit page was brand new, his Facebook had history. He offered to FaceTime for verification. We spoke, he showed his face, it matched his profile. I was convinced that someone that would completely expose their identity would not try to scam me. I ended up falling for it and sending him money through Facebook. After I sent the money I got a weird feeling and looked up his name, turns out I’m not the first.
If it’s not too difficult I ask that other people report his Facebook profile. It’s his only way of building credibility. Lesson learned, never buy anything from someone that doesn’t have Venmo/paypall.
