Hey! I’ve never been to that venue so I’m wondering if I’m going be cold since it’s outside but all the dancing might keep me all sweaty right? I’m going to nyc on September 20

I have no interest in going to clubs or rooftop bars or the like for EDM. What venues should I pay attention to this summer that have more of a festival vibe? Meaning overall larger amount of space and people, and nothing like bouncers enforcing who gets in. Thanks!

Will Bowery Presents security give me a hard time if I go see Dom Dolla in Corona Park with my 16-year-old daughter? I know the show is 18+, but if they put a giant X on her hand so she can't order drinks, I don't really see an issue?

I'm in town for the weekend for my birthday and wanted to listen to some music but the central Park show ends at 10pm.... I'll be damned if I end up chillin a bar after getting down to some space bass all evening.

I've been looking on EDMtrain but there doesn't seem to be any afters or shows that are a similar vibe. I was hoping for some UKF or garage since those are my favorite genres rn, but I'm down for some house or anything with bass on a good sound system. Bonus points for cool venues (coming from Boston where the venues are meh)

Living in the city for the summer with my girlfriend, I’m 21 and she’s 20. We’ve only been to discolines & deadmau5, but are SO down for anything electronic.. edm, house, dubstep, techno, hardstyle, we don’t care & love it all.

First time going to the venue. What’s the vibe like?

Every year I make a mix shortly after Wire to capture some of the vibes of the festival. I included a few songs I heard but mostly trying to play to the overall sounds of the rooms and combining them into one short mix.

From the electro sounds of Salome and Lauren Flax, to the groovy techno sounds in the main on Saturday, to the fun sounds of Juliana or Herresauna, and the unexpected turns during Newa b2b Kancheli. Hopefully this one takes you back to a happy place or exclaiming, “we have Wire at home”.

I wrote before about The Brooklyn Mirage Pacha NYC. Since I last looked at the Department of Buildings filings, there are a few new updates, and if you've seen some pics and videos, you've seen that the screen is being constructed and that new asphalt has been put down. Also, new urinals and toilets will be installed, exciting news! /s,

But the really important news is that the Pre-Temporary Place of Assembly Certificate has appeared, so they're expecting an inspection soon. You usually want to file a TPA as early as 10 days in NYC to get your certificate.

why do you hate fun and good times

iv been wanting to go to basement but i keep getting warned they reject everyone. iv never been rejected from a club. what is the true dress code? should i just not go?
