Which Andre is at the beginning?

I started reading war and peace because I fell in love with the musical Natasha, Pierre, and the Great Comet of 1812, but having the information from the musical is muddling my reading of the book. Is Prince Aundré at the beginning of the book Old Prince Bolkonsky or the son? I’m only on chapter 22 of Book One, but I can’t focus on the story because I’m questioning who it is I’m reading about.
