Battlefield Vietnam Back Online!

Battlefield Vietnam is back online as of today. The game has been brought back online and all you have to do is change your primary DNS settings on your PS3 to 165.227.128.12 and then load up Bad Company 2.

Currently for Vietnam there is one Rush server going and one Conquest server going. If you have the DLC already just redownload it if you don’t then you will need to look up instructions on how to get it since EA delisted the DLC.

Bad Company 2 Online Events, Updates, News and Double XP Event

Bad Company 2 has gone through some major updates in the past week.

  1. The game has been brought back online and all you have to do is change your primary DNS settings on your PS3 to 165.227.128.12 and then load up Bad Company 2.

  2. All game modes have available servers and are mostly active besides Hardcore mode. There are two lobbies of Rush and two lobbies of Conquest going at all times. Then there are 1 lobby of Squad Death match and Squad Rush going at all times.

  3. The amount of active online players has increased to over 550 players in just 6 days with many more expected to join the action in the coming weeks.

  4. Everybody starts at the very beginning and will level up like you just started playing the game. Leaderboards are working and is monitored for cheaters so please don’t cheat. One player has already been banned for cheating.

  5. Voice chat now works, and any other glitches and bugs that were noticed this past week have been fixed.

  6. Vietnam mode and all DLC maps are actively being worked on and are expected to go live soon.

  7. There is a double XP event going on now and will be going on every weekend too!

Full Lobbies in Bad Company 2 PS3

All Game Modes Work and are very active (Conquest and Rush are the most active) including all dlc maps and hardcore modes. Vietnam is currently being worked on and will be working very soon. Bad Company 2 online is compatible with 3 different DNS servers in case you have trouble with one and works with all hardware including emulation.

We need Bad Company 1

Taking gold crates does not automatically reset the attacking team's tickets to a flat 100. Instead, it functions as a ticket injection mechanic:

• When attackers successfully destroy both gold crates at a base, they are awarded +75 tickets (originally +50 tickets prior to a post-launch balance patch).

• These tickets are added on top of whatever remaining reinforcement pool the attackers currently have left from the previous base.

• The total pool is capped at a hard maximum of 100 tickets, meaning any surplus past 100 is lost.

By contrast, Battlefield: Bad Company 2 completely simplified this system: capturing both M-COMs simply wipes away your losses and fully restores the attacking pool back to its flat maximum of 75 tickets.

  • No parachutes
  • No defibrillators

I don't want to play another round of Conquest on BC2, no offense to those who do.

Also we need to get the population going again for Squad Rush on PC BF:BC2 because that was special, too. Maybe a dedicated night of the week for that vs PS3 Onslaught.

Limited Edition Code on Revived PS3 Servers

I didn’t keep the code that came with my game originally (surprisingly). For people that have their code, did entering it work? I wish I could use my beloved 1911 again!
