Go to 31 min timestamp. Due Dissidence podcast (after a mental gymnastics defence of Mamdani, they fell out with RBN over it) wind up acknowledging Third-Worldism: the average American has more than their chains to lose, they have hobbies and drinks, they don't want revolution.

THE PEOPLE! UNITED! WILL NEVER BE DEFEATED!

Seriously, though, this night could not have gone any better for PA-3. I was genuinely worried when it was a neck-and-neck race for so long—waiting for the next big poll drop felt like hours. When I saw on Decision Desk that Chris Rabb shot up ahead of the pack, I genuinely could not believe it. I was jumping up and down with excitement!

The Democratic Tea Party Express is here, and it is rocketing out of the station to exciting new destinations. The Feckless Democratic Establishment has the money, BUT WE HAVE THE PEOPLE! The DSA is here to stay, and so are the many victories we will have along the way. This is our party now.

The Pro-Israel, Pro Fascist Collaborator side of the Democratic Party is COOKED. We have the motion, and we have the floor. Voting is certainly not the only way to defeat fascism, but to have an opposition party, we need to vote out every single feckless Dem there is and have thousands of Zohran's across the country!

TLDR: THE PEOPLE! UNITED! WILL NEVER BE DEFEATED!

Shamelessly stole this from BE; but it is objectively true. The Hasan industrial complex and associated DSA sympathisers must be purged. Democratic Party entryism is the worst tendency of the “American left”

This is a clear red line, you do not compromise with the Clinton cult. America will never even get close to socialism or much more actually fucking not interfering with other countries. Thats just on counts of pure geopolitical isolationism. You won’t even come close to dismantling imperialism with progressive liberal Democratic Party activities much less figure out what that actually requires.

The Hasan and hanger-offers of American streamers are among some of the worst. This includes The Deprogram too, while not completely uncritical of entryism, the gist of r/TankieTheDeprogram users when you bring this up is to engage in “nuance” and argue that maybe the Democratic Party offers some practical pathway towards popularisation of socialism. There has been a bit of a shift in the sub and they are distancing themselves from him, but they are still far too soft.

All it will do is repeat the failures of 20th century social democracy. If you keep compromising with the capitalists, you strip away all the teeth until you just end up with nothing you hoped for. The breaking-off must happen at some point. You do not build up the fucking Democratic Party and call it party building. The ones who defend Hasan on r/TankieTheDeprogram figured out to call anyone too-critical of the DSA an ultra, which is essentially their version of saying tankie.

Anyone who is not American who hears this almost wants to implode about how burger-brained that take is. They are really doing “Marxism-Leninism” within the framework of American “democracy”. This is the dividing line, the moment where the BreadTube left can finally die and grow into something that has a chance of having actual teeth.

The Nebula elite, liberal progressivism and scolding can give way to a universalist, anti-imperialist path. Anyway, give BadEmpanada money. Maybe put your efforts into joining the PSL if you are American.

USA woman says others should not feel entitled for her to speak about Palestine because both sides are anti-Black

What do you think is a good response to this?

Why Saddam Hussein Invaded Kuwait in 1990 (No AI)

In August 1990, Saddam Hussein made a decision that would reshape the Middle East, and trigger one of the most decisive military responses of the late 20th century.

This video explores the complex chain of events that led Iraq to invade Kuwait. Was it purely about oil, or something deeper? We examine the economic strain Iraq faced after the brutal Iran–Iraq War, including massive debts and falling oil prices. Kuwait’s role—through oil overproduction and disputed drilling—is brought into focus, alongside long-standing territorial claims dating back to the Ottoman era.

But beyond economics, there was ambition. Saddam sought to position Iraq as the dominant power in the Gulf, believing the international response would be limited. That calculation proved disastrously wrong.

the obsession of online leftists with claiming contrapoints is a crypto-zionist is proof of how the left is more obsessed with optics and spectacle than substantive viewpoints

that's it... that's the post

I really don't think I need to elaborate, we know it's not true, but their definition of truth in this sense is informed with how much jargon you can use and how you fall into the party line, participation in the spectacle. liberal or not this is just silly, it's sad. mother needs to twitter detox because they're irrelevant at this point.

you know I guess it's always been true, especially when it came to queer issues the gist of the disagreement seem to come down to language, optics, and emotional truth (is what you said VALID). she could say in her own words what she thought and the problem wasn't what she meant, but the fact she said it in her own words.

edit: I should clarify, im a leftist, online, but not an Online Leftist™

The US Left Exposés by BE made me think of this short from Laith Marouf

Laith Marouf is one of the most active Palestinian-Lebanese journalists out there, if you watch the anti-war channels on Youtube you would see him often

and he is explicit about "OK, for those people who don't care about Palestinians per se, how do we get them on board the Palestinian cause?"

Whereas all these US content creators will never say that out loud.
