Hi im not a player, just playing to move my body after a whole week of wfh. But I do queuing with other players since I dont have any friends in the city. Any recos po na legit rackets na cheap sa orange app or malls. If you are selling you're rackets, maybe I can buy it in a good price. Just needs a racket po na magtatagal at matibay.
I’ve been looking for badminton shoes not more than 6-7k and I came across the Victor A970cHP. Is it good? I’m just a casual player and I kinda want to be better in the future. I’m still using my regular running shoes but I almost killed my ankle when my shoes suddenly went off my foot. And from what I read here, good badminton shoes are a must to prevent injury, so I’m planning to buy shoes. I don’t want to splurge on Yonex’s top of the lines shoes, since it’s wayyyyy over my budget, and I feel like I don’t need the pro-level models right now especially that I’m still a casual player.
So, I wanna know your thoughts about it. Is it any good? Or am I better off with other brands?

i just bought a guide hi soft grip from metro, the one i always use, and I noticed that the grip didn’t reach as high as it used to. Is there some sort of like different variation i’m missing or something?
Just wondering if other people develop the same skid/wear and tear patterns on their shoes.
For context, these are Yonex Cascade Accel and I've had them since Dec 2024. I play at a minimum of 7 hours a week in queues. Technique-wise, I use toe-slide footwork a lot for deep lunges.
I also have a skidmark near the big toe metatarsal but I think that is more common than actually having marks on the toe. In my queueing groups, no one seems to have the same wear and tear marks.
Would love to see your wear and tears on your shoes also if you've been using for more than a year!

hello so I'm new to training badminton here sa city namin. is the pricing normal if 4k for 15 session ang singilin (350 per session, that's a package na daw) and every training is nagrrange ng 150-180 ang courtfee? madami kaming nagttraining. Hi! I just recently got into badminton (5 weeks straight na kami naglalaro on a weekend, although we played before naman since childhood pero wala sa official court).
I just want to ask lang some recommendation sa racket and strings. Gusto ko sana parang may pag ka metallic sound pag humahampas, nung hiniram ko kasi racket ng friend ko ang ganda ng sound nya pag hinahampas and I felt that parang mas gumanda laro ko. Also, sana more on the lightweight po sya, I experienced heavier racket before and medyo di kasi ako comfortable.

Hello! 27F I'm from cainta/near pasig and casual badminton player lang ako, with friends or family tas sa open space somewhere lang kami nag lalaro. I haven't tried playing in a court pa kasi wala naman ako makasama hahaha and ngayon, decided na ako! gusto ko na kasi gawing hobby mag badminton aside from running.
Can anyone please help me pano ba process ng queing? Pwede ba solo joiner? And curious ako sa shoes required ba na badminton shoes gagamitin? Tas parang napaisip rin ako if yung shoes ba na gagamitin mo sa court, clean dapat?
