I need help finding new fanfics to read. I’ve already read the most popular ones so I’m trying to find a new ones to read. Are there any fan fictions that are really good but might not be as popular or they are relatively new. I would love to read both Izuku and Katsuki being heroes together and then falling in love. Like a good slow burn fanfiction in the Canon universe. it can be post-canon or them just being heroes together in general. I love fanfics like Kamikaze and promises kept. Those are one of my most favourite fanfics. They were long and angsty with good development and a lot of fluff in the end too.

Just want to read something like that again. And I have read most of the popular ones, and now I can’t find anything that really hits the spot. So please just give me the recommendations. I prefer BKDK over DKBK but it’s fine either way as long as they’re not made out of character because I see them as equals

I would also like fanfictions, which actually have a good plot running in the background as well, like yes, romance is the focus but like they actually have a good plot going on with different characters like them being heroes and going on missions and there is a villain plot, etc. Make it seem like a real engaging story.

Unnecessary commitment issues, despite knowing they both love each other.

PS - sorry if I made the post too long and too specific, but it would be great if anybody can help me find newer are less known fanfics with these tropes.

How do you think toxic IzuOchas or even IzuOcha shippers at all would react if BkDk really did become canon? This thought popped into my head while I was watching an Instagram post complaining about, and I quote, "Forced gay ships from teenage dark romance girls who are mentally ill," and a majority of the comments were talking 'bout sum "bkdk shippers will never know the damage they have done to the fandom" and "Bkdk is the worst ship known to mankind." And yes... unfortunately, somebody typed that, re-read it, and hit "comment."

Considering the vast amount of... hate towards bkdk in that comment section, with many of those assumably coming from toxic IzuOcha shippers, I wonder how they would react if BkDk actually were to become canon. Would they be mad? Would they finally accept that the ship makes sense? Would they attack us? Man, the possibilities are endless...

Anyways, if you are an IzuOcha shipper who hates bkdk and finds the fans insufferable, or a normal, mentally stable IzuOcha shipper, or just a bkdk shipper who came across this post, how would you react/how do you think they'd react if BkDk became canon?

I want bkdk fics where one of them is "straight" at first and struggles to deal with the fact they're attracted to men. I've read some of these but i want more recs cuz i trust what y'all would have read, loved, finished and recommended than tag sorting. thank you!

What if we just ignore the hate from IzuOcha shippers? When they hate on a bkdk post or bkdk in general, they want two things:

1. To prove that their ship is better

2. To make us mad

By replying to their hate comments, we are just feeding into their satisfaction, driving them to do more.

So, if an IzuOcha shipper or just a bkdk hater at all hates on anything bkdk-related, don't block them (if you want to block them to feel safe, by all means), don't reply to them, don't do anything. Just ignore it.

If you agree with this, please repost anywhere. Whether it's TikTok, Twitter, Instagram, etc., I want to spread this message to every bkdk shipper.

By responding to hate, we are unintentionally spreading it, and it really needs to stop, because it's just going to get worse from here on out.

Y'all remember when people would put random ass bible quotes in random TikTok comment sections, and once we started ignoring them, it stopped? This is what I'm trying to do here.

Hi! I just finished TWYUTD and I genuinely don’t know how to recover 😭

So now I’m desperately looking for fluffy BKDK fics — preferably canon-compliant or at least canon-adjacent. I just want to see them happy, in love, domestic, healing… please 😩

I’m especially craving parent BKDK fics, but without mpreg (absolutely no hate to anyone who enjoys it, it’s just not my thing personally). They don’t even have to be parents though — I mainly want that feeling of them being deeply in love and finally getting softness after everything.

What I’m really looking for:
- Characterization that actually feels like them
- Grumpy/rude Kacchan who’s secretly soft only for Deku
- Slow emotional development / relationship growth
- Domestic fluff, comfort, tenderness
- Them acting like idiots in love
- Canon personality dynamics still intact

Basically I need emotional recovery material because TWYUTD ruined me and now I need to watch these two be happy 😭😩

Honestly, this post isn't really necessary, but I just wanted to share this fanfic I read a few days ago, because it (and its author) deserve way more praise, maybe even as much as some of the more famous fanfics.

Katsuki’s personality is often a problem for me, especially when he’s portrayed in fanfics; I often feel that very few people (and maybe I’m one of them, too) truly understand his character, his essence, and manage to capture that in a story.

Well, while this one portrays him in a different light than we’re used to, I think it captures exactly what Katsuki could be.

As for Izuku, so many facets of his character have been portrayed in this fanfiction, and none of them have strayed from his nature, his personality, or who he is.

And while both characters are so well-written, the story is even better; I love this kind of fic, with jumps between universes.

The whole day I've been thinking about this question, let's say that in order to save the other they HAVE to sacrifice the whole world. I know they're heroes and they have to think about the majority but would they still consider it ? Because I remembered that trope of " I would burn the world for you " and I wonder if it would work for them even though they tend to be very intense when it comes to saving others especially deku.

Hi all! I've been out of the Bakudeku fanfic loop for waaay too long and could really use some fresh recs!

I'd love recs for fics that are any combination of the following:

- Recent; first posted in the last 5 years or so

- Long; anything above 75k words

- Slow Burning; the slower the better! Sidepairings are fine so long as Bakudeku is endgame. Smut also enthusiastically accepted

- At least vaguely Canon-Adjacent; either canon compliant or canon divergent

- Happy Ending; pls I just want them to be happy ;-;
